@onstageagain Im not saying I like the guy, but I certainly dont think it was acceptable for the people to be burnt alive and shot. Which even if you dont believe the ATF deliberately set fire to the building (I think they did, and the video of the atf tank pumping fire in played a part in making me believe that) they could of dealt with it better or just left them alone in the first place. Anything would of been better than 76 people including many kids burning to death.

@parrotcar The fire was not started by the ATF. The aerial view shows the fire breaking out in 3 different parts of the compound.. You obviously didn't listen to the tapes that were recorded of the Koresh crew talking clearly saying to pour fuel around the compound.

I am a two combat zone veteran and you are wrong that tank was using a flame thrower to start the building to burning after they had field it with CS gas. They murdered those innocent men, women and children. They were using cs gas all that morning. Spraying it into different parts of the building to insure that it would burn that much more quickly. They opened up several holes in the building to also insure that the fire would have enough air to help it burn quickly. WAKE UP you may be next.

Don't get me wrong, this was a complete mess that the government botched, but the fanatics that were holed up in Mr. Carmel shot and killed ATF agents on the first day of the raid...unacceptable. Koresh knew they were coming and instead of allowing them to search the premises peacefully, he ordered his followers to take defensive positions. No one knows who took the first shot, but had they not prepared for battle, I doubt blood would have been spilled. Both sides are to blame.
