This is really sweet bro. I'm a junior and I'm looking to go to school for either animation or illustration. I figure you'd be a good guy to ask, what can I do to get started on animation now? What program should I use? Just the basics haha.

This was done in Maya wasn't it? I can remember an egg modeling project... It was infuriating lol

Nope, Cinema 4D. Although this was a highschool project and I'm in college now working with Maya. What about it was infuriating? It's as simple as smoothing a cube that's had one polygon scaled down?

Nah, the making of the egg shape was simple enough, it was the fact that they made us use this weird duel brush that created contours and stuff in the egg, but to get it to work right was hard. Push too far to one side and it made a massive black hole in the object, and not enough and it just made a dented line...
