@ItsJeremyDammit i know your comment is 3months old but i wanted to let you know that they must have tuned up the signal because i'm a truck driver and my son is riding with me and i have the mifi2200 and all he(my son) do is play call of duty mw2 online (ps3) yeah it's so strong and good it works on the ps3 for online gaming. just a little FYI/update. cya..

When MiFi first came out several weeks ago,it hit downloads over 1mbps and uploads over 512kbps.

Now, Verizon has started throttling the MiFi to about 200 kbps download/upload... sigh. It was nice while it lasted.

I hope when you did the comparison of speeds between Charter and Verizon MiFi that you cleared the cache on each device. Otherwise you will you will not get true load times on your iPhone and the comparison will not be fair.

American companies are moving away from unlimited to only 5 to 30GB a month, even on their DSL and cable modems.

Nov 4th, congress will try to battle corporate America from over charging and limiting Internet, but considering that Corporate America pretty much runs this country I highly doubt they will win.

I just used up 1.2 GB in the last two hours downloading games on my PSP Go, so I understand what you are saying.

My local ISPs block everything.

Verizon blocked Slingmedia and Time Warner Cable (road runner) blocked Sony's PS3 remote play for PSP.

Internet in this country sucks !

Like the vid. The UK mobile network 3 are planning to do a similar device for the near future, but the size of a USB dongle. It does require a subscription though, and a SIM card. It would be pretty good though. Just a quick question for US folk, what is the nationwide cable broadband coverage percentage? Is it like the UK mainly built up areas and citys?

no, about 90% of Australia can have fiber now. Lines and exchanges are already in place.

The iPhone is coming to verizon. I have a friend who works as a verizon executive and there is a plan for a verizon iPhone. Once the at t plan runs out there will be verizon iPhone because of reliable 3g speed and MMS.

The iPhone is not coming to Verizon any time soon. I called at&t asking them about that and they said they still have a 2 Year contract with Apple. I have to say the Verizon MiFi looks like it gives out a very string signal. I might just get it! Thanks for making this video! :-)

So if you didn't know, if you jailbreak ur IPhone with redsn0w .08 and you install this program called MYWI from Cydia or this site called rockmyphone you can have the SAME thing as that verizon wifi thing. You can create your own network, password and channels, and just charge ur phone while u walk around your house. Please check it out. You will LOVE IT!! I HIGHLY recommend it.
