Right you are, chemeleon. But the beauty of the way I do these beds is that they don't have to be perfect. A short side would make it more of a parallelogram, but it would still work! Who knows, this may have actually happened.

@apachebow one of your measurements is wrong instead of 4- 2x2x4 it should be 4- 2x4x4 or two of the sides would be 2 inches too short
