That was truly awesome and I couldn't agree more with the message. Yes... Don't give people permission to affect you. You do have a choice! There's a moment, for example, right after someone says something you determin is negative, that you body gets tense, the Tibetans call that Shenpa. When you learn to recognize that tiny moment, you can turn it around and stop that negative, bitter feeling that usually follows.
