Sorry, Mr Farang; I have to tell you that when I listen to you, it made me vomit because you speak like a duck ha ha ha Please stop speak Thai because you will make me sick. Farang Kee Noke! 555555 Very important, please have an open mind. Don't be like the Thai king Bhumibol who have a close mind. He uses the Lese Majeste law to put people who disrespect him or his family in jail 15 years. He's suck, right? Don't block me. Show respect to my comment, will ya?
Hi Ryan, a few comments from a fellow farang learning Thai. Do you read/write Thai at all? The reason I ask, is that some of your pronunciations sound typical of english transliterations of Thai, eg, the consonant "ป" which has a "bp" sound, but is transliterated into english as a "p" sound.
So, instead of saying "Bp-ii" (year), "Bp-rateht" (country) and "Bp-ramaan" (Approximately), you say "Pii", "Prateht", and "Pramaan", respectively.
Thanks for the tips Oz. This video is over a year old. I can read Thai now, but still most likely have the problems you mentioned. It's tough learning this language not living in the country. Again, thanks for the tips. I'll try to improve those points you mentioned over the next year. Peace
It's just a script I wrote and memorized. It took a couple hours to memorize. I did it for my own personal Thai study. If your first language is Spanish it will probably be a little easier for you to pronounce some Thai words compared to someone whose first language is English. In Thai there is a rolling "R" sound. I wish I could make that sound, but I can't.
@kobesunset my girl understood everthing u said in your video..she says that spanish is harder than thai or combodian even English...o well..thanks for answer me back.
@kobesunset Sa wat dii khrap ! hey Ryan, yea about the rolling 'r' thing...it can easily be learned with practice. I'm learning Indonesian and they also have the rolling r sound. After a while i was just able to make that sound.
Yeah, I know what you're getting at. It's the same in Japanese where we usually leave out saying "I", "you", "he", etc. I'm still a beginning Thai speaker.
great work, next step I would love to see a bit more energy and inflection here and there even if it feels fake at first. Your polightness is off the hook, great on that level. Peace

The more Bhumibol puts people in jail using the Lese Majeste law, the more people will fight him and want to get rid of him and his family.
Abolish the Lese Majeste law and the Monarchy in Thailand NOW!
