Hey Infidel, I have a problem, Im a vocalist and my style is quite like Phil anselmo, Zakk Wilde etc. But most of my friends only want to play Nu metal and metalcore which I dont really enjoy that much. I thought the songs we were covering I could do them in my vocal style (Nightmare by A7x and Scream aim fire by BFMV) my band mates basicly told me to do a shitty impression of the singers of these bands, I want to try Thrash, death and black metal and they wont try anthing new, wat should I do?

What do you think of this recent Meshuggahish inspired Djent genre that seems to be the next metalcore/deathcore?
