just so you guys know, the are still working on this project. they also work on another project which can be combined to make it better (this on is more focused on things like; lighting, floor textures etc.), another developer has made a mod which is coded to make it DX10, it is very stable since over 20 versions has been released to date. with the 3, i'm telling you, the graphics are visually stunning.

@blacksnake230 : DO NOT FOLLOW THIS GUIDE IF YOU HAVE INSTALLED SHIFTER. Shifter uses a slightly different method to work, and doesn't need the files located in \HDTP\System\. In fact, loading the files in that directory will DISABLE Shifter. If you HAVE to use this method, delete the line "Paths=..\HDTP\System\*.u" from your modified INI file. Otherwise, Shifter includes instructions on how to get the two mods working together, and yes this will work in Steam.
