@InspctrClouseau I would strongly disagree people are better off with out it! Stick to potatoes, brown rice, beans and quinoa, much healthier carbs than Wheat. and better absorbed into the Gi tract.
@5tonyvvvv Sure, those are better, but gluten is still not a problem for people unless someone is allergic to it. People have noticed the "Gluten Free" labels and have jumped on the bandwagon without knowing anything about it.
@InspctrClouseau I disagree again, I dont think you know much about nutrition, you would know Gluten is bad, it Clogs the GI tract, and causes all kinds of health problems. Even the people that are not allergic to it, should avoid it! Most Olympic Swimmers and Runners dont eat Gluten, but Im sure you are in better shape and know more than them right. Everyone on you tube is an expert! LOL
@5tonyvvvv Everyone is a "you tube" expert, including you, right? LOL...way to bring your own reasoning into question...
Anyway, something tells me that having my cup of oatmeal in the morning and my natural peanut butter and honey sandwich on 100% whole wheat whole grain bread later on in the day for a snack isn't going to cause me any issues. It hasn't in the years and years that I've been, and I'm not about to stop because some random person on Youtube claims it's bad for me.
@5tonyvvvv Apples to oranges; comparing the average person with an olympic athlete makes absolutely no sense. I'm not trying to be the fastest swimmer in the world and therefore don't eat as if I was shooting for that goal. What I can say for certain is that I have been eating products that contain the evil gluten for my entire life, and am faster, stronger, and in better shape than the average person of my age.
Most oatmeal has Gluten!!!! No good!!!

@5tonyvvvv Gluten is only a problem for folks who are allergic to it. For the vast majority of people, it's perfectly fine.
