MGM star which crafted a stable of stars: George Peppard, Paula Prentiss, Jim Hutton Yvette Mimieux Richard Chamberlain. MGM groomed Peppard and even assigned Peppard Spencer Tracy's bungalow at MGM so confident the studio had a mega star. Home From The Hill, How The West Was Won and Operation Crossbow and on loan out: Breakfast At Tiffany's, The Carpetbaggers, The Victors proved MGM right. Peppard worked with John Ford, Vincente Minnelli, Sophia Loren, Rock Hudson, Audrey Hepburn, et al
Thank you for your nice feedback... I know how you feel... he does have a breath-taking effect on us women, doesn't he?
That's what I call star quality! Even 15 years after he's left us, he still can evoke so much in each and every one of us who watch him on celluloid! There's no one quite like George...is there...:-)
Thanks so much for your kind comments! I'm so pleased you appreciate the effort I try to put into these videos for George Peppard. Good point. You are right. He did play characters framed twice. Actually three times, if you count "P.J.", right?
Wow! A wonderful video. You make it perfectly. Your ideas are amazing - the way of cutting, matching the music, everything. Thanks a lot for doing it. Go on!!! Well, George did a character who was falsely accused of murdering his wife twice: 1) "Pendulum" and 2) the real life story "Guilty or Innocent: The Sam Sheppard Murder Case". Both films are outstanding - a real tidbit for GP fans.
Woo Hoo! That's hot! You bring out George Peppard in such an amazing way! It's like you have brought him back to life! Your 10th video is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! More, more, more...please - YOU RULE!! I never knew how gorgeous he was before he did The A-Team! I am totally swept away by his looks and his screen presence. Thank you so much for this video! You are the BEST!
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! I'm happy you enjoyed it so much! Glad to know that you have discovered there is more to our George than just The A-Team...although he was great in that, too...and why the show succeeded. I agree with what you say about his great looks and presence on film/TV... He clearly had that special star quality, didn't he...there will never be another like George Peppard... He was one of a kind!
