@sWiFTsTicKs Remo Coated Ambassador on batter, and evans hazy (300/500 I can't remember) on reso. I also have a piece of drum gum near the edge to get a little ring out (but not all of it). It's not all about the heads though, I also took some of the sound that was recorded from the foot cam (the other source was the Zoom H2), so the snare is a little clearer in the 'mix' (if you can call it one :P). Hope that answers your question :)

Hey now i've been jamming out to this song for yeah quiet along time, now i as a drummer puts more effort into the pedal work then the hands, now do you think it works with this song if i don't do shuffle on the hi-hat in this song and keep power on the bass drum, personally i think it works yet i would like to hear another drummers opinion about it?!

@KakunaDrummer44 IMO, I'd say go for balanced: add some foot, some hat, add some hands, etc. I personally think that if you stick to one specific 'domain' of your playing, it can either become stale after a while and/or hinder you in your overall playing, where you will only be solid in the area. On the other hand you can look at this way: a drum fill with only hands is great, but where's the foot? One with only snare is cool but where's the toms or the hats? It's a salad, not a block of cheese.

@crazyone1989 The audio was taken in one take. The audio is coming from the bird's eye view angle. The second take was the side view, although that audio wasn't used. The foot cam was a third take (again not including that audio). That's why you may notice me hitting something different on the side view than what you hear (ex. different tom or cymbal) which is coming from the overhead view. Hope that answers your question :)

Pretty cool drumming, I like how youve implemented your own parts to the song, although I think its excessive in some parts; I prefer Carey's drumline :P. Although its a bit sloppy in some parts its a good cover, and fun to watch... Great camera work!
