  • Which way did you wind it because I don't know if I'm doing it right! Please comment back, thanks.

  • @TYLERhesh I think that it is clockwise, turn it enough to where you let go of it, it will recoil, "spin" if it doesn't then your going the wrong way, or if it does nothing then your spring is broke. Hope this helps.

  • wow i cudnt believe myself, i did it man! im not a tech kind of person but i did it! thanks a lot! your video helps people like me.

  • @enthalpy30 Thanks for the great comment.

  • Thought i needed to see the inside of the housing at first, but when I did it I saw that your instructions were sufficient. Thanks, just what the doctor ordered. You said something about swearing--- what swearing......lol

  • Thanks man!

  • @121243 You bet, thanks for watching!

  • Love the narration but your video is worthless because you neglected to show the inside of the housing while you are working on the GD thing - lol.

  • @roostercrowe1 I'll tell ya what I will make one just for you

  • @skiddy8619 - #LOL That's OK. I got it done. Rebuilt a 4 HP Briggs & Stratton and it's working great. I did find the info you provided helpful - I just had to give you a hard time for the camera work. It looks like you live in the middle of downtown BF Egypt. Is that a farm?

  • i like the swearing actually

  • Dan... I need to see the other side. I wanted to see how you wound the thing up....Love your vids though man. Keep it up

  • I use to have an old Briggs motor with one of those spring loaded things you crank until the spring got tight and then click a button that would release the spring and spin the motor. It was OK if you mower would start after one, maybe two spins, but I still hated it. I finally just pulled the cover off, and used a drill with a socket on it to spin up the motor. Briggs has their great motors and their shit motors and ideas too.

  • lord have mercy, my bro has done that god knows how many times on atv's chainsaws, dirt bikes and other silly shit

  • Cool repair video, I like
