  • I liked this video cause you used the Encounter song :)

  • Hello, can you tell me if i can run this game, and how well please? FPS etc...

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5800 Processor 3.2Ghz Overclocked @ 3.8 Ghz

    8GB RAM DDR3 1333MHZ

    1TB HDD

    XFX ATI Radeon HD 6750 1024MB GDDR5

  • =D now that Metal Gear theme song...

  • music from metal gear

  • hey does anybody know how i can run the Catalyst control center ??? because when i install it i only get a fuckin install manager, no more, and i need the catalyst control center to customize my HD 4850, can anybody help me ?

  • HOW MUCH FPS? you didnt include most important information

  • @Pinnger 30 - 45 FPS without FRAPs. 20-30 FPS during recording, it looks smooth due to how Crysis implements post-processing and motion blur.

  • I highly recommend mixing the video settings on high-very high~ It depends on what resolution you plan on playing, however. If you're lower than 1680 x 1050, it should run smoothly on very high settings.

    Hope this helps.

  • nice, i haVe hd 4850 and was wondering if crysis would run

  • and furthermore i have the same gaming rig specs as you lol

  • ive got a HD 4850 but when i record with FRAPs my Fps goes to 1 i usualy get like 30-50fps

  • I have GTS 250 1024 MB, C2Q Q9550 2GHz, 4 GB Ram. And i Have 20-30 fps on max graphics with 1024x768(((((( What me doing????

  • ati radeon hd 4850 outperforms the nvidia geforce 8800

  • Show me some benchmarks where the 8800GT outperforms the HD4850 because the reviews I've been reading, show that the HD4850 is on par with the 9800GTX; both cards (4850/9800GTX) outperforming the 8800GT.

  • it beats the 8800 ultra and nvidea geforce 9800 plus on crysis

  • @AirWing the hd4850 is even fast as a gtx260

  • When i bought my HD4850 1gb, i searched up for the fastest card/price ratio (able to play all existing games minimum)

Now... not a hope in hell would the 8800GT come even close lol

    the HD4850 outpreforms the 8800gt, 9800gt 9800gtx AND the 9800gtx+

while it's cheaper than the 9800gt

  • Shit man! This game's really heavy!!! And of course, in very high it's no way for this vga to run this game smoothly like butter...

  • MGS Music FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ionno if I am right or wrong but I surfed many forums all complains about why Crysis is slow even on high....I have a HD4870X2 and still lags.....the thing is some guys say that Crysis was dedicated for Nvidea, so it is normal that ATI won't run it cool no matter how strong the vid card is, < That's what they say, donno whether it's right or wrong, but seems to have some sense...

  • If you have any tools that tell you in-depth information about your card, you may be running your 4870X2 on "2D or Low 3D" settings, clocking them down to 200-400Mhz core clock. Your full core clock would be 2-3x more powerful.

    Try downloading Rivatuner.

  • Thanks for the comment, Downloaded Rivatuner, but I am stuck, I don't know where to go anymore

  • Does it say Unsupported driver? (I'm more Nvidia than ATi, so I don't know ATi software/drivers as well)

On the line that says "Customize" there should be an arrow pointing bottom right. Once clicked, a small window will pop up beside it and show 3-4 icons. Click the blue slot that looks like a video card, from that point, it'll show your clocks and everything.

  • If it doesn't work, try eVGA Precision.

  • Thanks...much appreciated

  • can i play Crysis on very high ??

    AMD Phenom 9750 4x 2.40GHz, 4GB RAM,ATI Raedon HD4850(Acer Predator II Defender) PLEASE HELP!!!!!

  • yes it can run it whit like 40 fps all max i have some thing like that

  • no you cant

  • I had a very similar spec to you

    C2Q@ 2.4GHz, 3GB DDR2 RAM, HD4850 1gb

and i'd get about 40fps on max settings :)

  • Seems like lagging, or is tha lagging from the video capture?

  • i like the metal gear solid music

  • woah dude. how many fps are u getting there? i have a 8800gt and a AMD 5200+ 2.7 ghz.

  • Can someone help me, I wanna buy a new PC. Is this one good enough to play Crysis on Ultra High with AA and everything on?

    Specs:

    Processor: Intel Core i7 processor 950 (3.06Ghz, 8MB L2 Cache, 4.8GT/sec) /Original Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64 BIT / Microsoft Works 9 /

  • well i think so

im not a pro but it probably would play it on high

and go on video reviews of the core i7 and hd 4870 and ask the same question

  • no that sucks....

  • Yeah, that'd run it sweet! seriously

    you'll get 50+ fps garenteed

  • i always have been using intel-nvidia combination...i have a gigabyte g-31 mobo,dual core e22160 and nvidia 9600gso...im planning a q6700 and hd4850 in my mobo...is that possible? please help.

  • gso is to slow to game yea the HD4850 wil be nice voor your bord but you need a 450 watt power suple minium but your processor is slow too thast a little too bad whats your memory spec

  • i have a thermaltake 420w 12v-25 amp. and if i get a q9400 instead. wud that be good? my mem is currently 2gbs ddr2 667mhz. i don plan any kinds of overclock.i run only one hdd.

  • Haha. Metal Gear.

  • BGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • i love this music metal gear solid

    is the best game ever

  • MGS FTW!!

  • Comment removed

  • why MGS background music, do crysis one. Oh i see it sucks

  • lol?

  • how come you don't lag so much even with fraps?

i lag like hell and i THINK that i've got a slightly better PC than you.

    specs

    core 2 duo e7300 @ 3ghz

    sapphire radeon hd4850 - 512mb @ 700/1050

    corsair 2gb 800mhz - 5 / 5 / 5 / 18

    vista home premium 64bit

i included the OS because it might be vista..

  • You have Vista.. And you only have 2gbs of ram. You should have 4gb on vista. Instal WinXp for more fps. And hes using DX9

  • i have Vista

    2GB dual channel DDR2 ram

    running crysis on DX10

    Pentium dual core E6300 ( OC'd to 3.6GHz )

    Asus Radeon 4850 512mb

i run crysis on high ( minus AA/AF ) and get 30FPS which is pretty smooth. jeez id settle for 20FPS, thats smooth enough for me

  • lol, you know if you're playing at 20fps on crysis Max, then you'll be fine with every other game on earth XD

  • I have a question. Will the HD4850 work with 350 w psu? Im planing to get it but don't know how it will perform with my 350w psu.

  • right...for all the 'can i run it' whiners:

min specs: 256 MB 3D Graphics card, 1 GB Memory, Pentium 4 2.8 GhZ. Thank you, now stop asking

  • its funny, cos my old PC had those specs to the exact and it got 3FPS average. couldnt play for more then 10 minutes. not being a smart ass, i just think they should get more accuret with the specs they say on these games.

  • that's weird...i have below those specs and i was able to play it (until it started bugging) with 25 fps..wierd, huh?

  • troll

  • how do you achieve (when you probably click right mouse button) to put his gun just right of his shoudler, not on his eye to aim :S ??? by the way, that looks realy cool :D

  • Nice gameplay, but who know, after what time from the freezing moment of Radeon HD 4850, the Vpu Recover shows a comunicate ?? :) I want to know that, because I have a little problem with this card.

  • Metal Gear Solid 1 Song-Encounter right??

  • Can I run crysis? My gaming rig is this:

    Dell e510

pentium 4 with HT Technology (note the HT)

Radeon x300 Hypermemory SE 128 mb (note the memory is hyper)

    512 mb ram

i run maplestory and runescape really epic at 800x600 resolutions

  • no don't even think you can start it

  • @ gbmach2000

    lol die mindestanforderungen sind:

    Intel 2.8 GHz CPU

    Grafikkarte: nVidia 6600/ATI X800GTO mit Shadermodel 2.2 & RAM: 768 MB

  • Maybe on 4x3 resolution...

  • no way... I had a radeon X1600 and a pentium Dualcore with 3.0ghz and 3gigs ram for a while, it started but it was a lagfest... at low setting and low res... you wont even be albe to start it.

  • Sure! Play Crysis on low 800x600 with 2 fps.

    Have fun with Crysis slideshow.

  • lol troll

  • damn that is song from mgs1

  • i didnt know it snowed on crysis

  • how would this card run crysis ?

    1 x 8GB PC-6400 800 MHZ (4 x 2 GB) (DDR2)

    1 x AMD Phenom X4 9850 (4 x 2.5GHz) 2MB Black Edition

    1 x Asus M3A-H/HDMI 5200MT/s (AMD 780G)

    1 x ATI Radeon HD 4890 - 1 GB - 2xDVI/VGA (XFX)

im going to overclock it all of course.

  • It would run very well with that setup, but there are better CPUs like phenom 2 X3 or X4 that i would recommend.

  • LOL you cant OC on that shitty mobo. sure u can oc 200mhz LOL

  • Hey guys how would Crysis run on this set-up???

    Processor Type:AMD Phenom X4 9750

    RAM: 4 GB

    Video-Card:ATI Radeon HD4850

  • over 40 fps without in ultra set and no FSAA

  • Wow I'm loving the reviews and videos of this card. I'm thinking of upgrading it from my "alright" (crap) 9400gt i bought on a tight budget.

  • AMD+ATI rulezzzz

    I love AMD and ATI

  • me to

  • Fuck nSHITia.

    Fucking nGREEDia nvidiots!!!

  • lol :D metal gear solid

  • Ofc, lag.

  • it seem abit lag. but cool!

  • ok thx man but will it be big diffrence in crysis?:)I don't know what 800stream processors is its much more than 112^^ but if I take club 3d hd4850 overclocked is it much better than xfx 9800gt xxx?

  • hey,Which card is best xfx 9800gt xxx edition or the hd4850stock I'm not good at this so a answear soon will be just great:D

  • That depends on the game you want to play. Personally, I would recommend the HD4850 because of anti-aliasing performance, price and architecture ( 800 Stream processors, 55nm process and DX10.1 support ). The 9800GT XXX also has its perks, it being a factory overclocked video card and a rebranded 8800GT ( which is still a great card ) with a die shrink from 65nm to 55nm, it all comes down to how you play your games. I would prefer the HD4850 for high resolution games with AA.

  • @Activelnvasion, the HD4850 is slightly better than a XFX 9800GT XXX.

  • Ok I think I'll take the hd4850 it cost a bit more but I want a good card and my processor is not good its amd x2 4400+ 2,2ghz but I got 3gb ram and windows xp32-bit so I'll se later how it works:D but the overclocked edition of hd4850 665mhz must be better than 9800gt670mhz is beaten my the original hd4850

  • i want this card soo bad...good for its price and gonig to overclock it like crazy xD

    btw nice song xD :P

  • is this grafikcard loud?

  • Nice video!

Q:How can you turn on/off AF? - Thank You!

    Sav

  • metal gear :D

  • How you can do this tipe of "zoom"?? At 0:49

  • in the menu, check "Basic iron sights"

  • Hey, which one is better? A GTS 250 or a HD 4850? What do you think?

  • 4850 just make sure you get good cooler for it

  • Dude Vision Tek has the better costumer support , Sapphire is just a DRAG to deal with.

  • the cheapest cards are PALIT cards, but even though theyre cheap theyre still good

  • metal gear 1 song xD

  • faaaaaaak this game is the big shit

    i looove it

i can play it all live

  • what for fps on very high

  • Hey dude im trying to buy an ATI RADEON HD 4850 but i dont know the difference between Asus and Sapphire etc.. which one should i buy and why / low prices would be reccomended.

    Please respond.

  • Asus is cheaper

  • And is the quality as good and how cheap is hte asus from the saphirre. Overall what would you reccomend. I really want to buy whats best and i dont want to pay olike 300 dollars for a video card ive seen some of those at 120

  • hi. asus is better, it has better customer support. but i dont know if its cheaper than sapphire but one good thing is that its not warm.

  • I can't wait!! im getting this card in a couple days for cheap too:]

  • Nice music selection

  • how can you aim that way, so not full. If you know what i'm talkning about..lol..

  • lol my machine is better than yours :P

  • Is RADEON HD5850 so much better than Geforce 9800gtx? i have an XFX GeForce 9800gtx and i cant get a playable FPS when i Activate AA 0_o i cant even have 2 AA.... i can play the same Ress as he do but with no AA, and i have 8g ram,

    and a Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz

  • I tried it know again, i get 25-30 fps with 2aa and 1440 x 900 in resolution, but i cant still get as much fps as AirWing do

  • yea but ur using directx 10 rite? he is using directs 9. so if u use dx9 u can run even better than him.

  • no, i am playing in DX9 to, but i heard that 9800gtx is not good optimized for Crysis but i am gonna buy a GeForce 295 very soon =P

  • oh ok but how come 9800gtx not good for crysis? i was planning to buy one... but anyways the 295 will be awsome =D

  • 9800 GTX will run Crysis pretty good.

  • say airwing how do you think crysis will run on my new rig i am ordering on the 23rd

    CPU: amd phenomII

    MOBO:biostar 790gx chipset

    RAM:4gb ddr2/800

    GPU:hd4850

  • I'm rather envious that you're getting an AMD Phenom 2 now that AMD finally has a decent processor out.

I think you'll be able to play it on my settings without any hitches. You can even try to shift it over to DX10 mode if you want.

  • he he thanks man but i think it might run a little slower on a 22" 1080p monitor you think i should get a 720p instead

  • where the difference in this game between dx9 and dx10, will u miss some effects in dx9??

  • METAL GEAR!! lolz

  • classic music :D

  • and btw I have tested this settings and it is pretty smooth but what fps are you getting

  • I have build a system say what you think

    Specs:

    Asus P5Q Deluxe

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

    Corsair 4GB 1066 MHZ DDR2 Dominator RAM

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4850 (with a better cooler)

    Corsair TX650 Watt power supply

  • Solid build, dude. I'm getting 30-45 FPS in the game on the said settings. 20-30 FPS when FRAPs is recording. :D

  • I already know what the problem was I have a Asus P5Q Deluxe and my HD 4850 was in the X16 slot. Today I did the HD 4850 in the 2.0 slot and then I am getting performance near to this.

  • If you had Intel Wolfdale Dual Core, you would be getting 70 - 90 FPS

  • im running vista ultimate so yes its DX10

  • Pretty fluid!!

  • HD4850 by far

    Next time just google benchmarks

  • Yea, im going for the 4850, it's much better. Yay, btw i have same cpu than you do.

  • 9600gt suck ass compared to the hd 4850 if you want a nvidia card that can compare to the pure awesomeness that is the 4850 get yourself a 9800 GTX+ but honestly it is overpriced the 4850 runs just as good as this card but it is cheaper

    hope this helps

    metal gear

  • I have a Phenom 9600,4Gb RAM,780G MOBO and a HD 4850 it only gets 20-25fps!:S and how the heck I set the Hybrid Crossfire on!? This is my first build so be patient ..PLEASE HELP..

  • You don't need CrossFire support from your integrated graphics. If anything, it'll make your in-game performance even worse because it's splitting the load between the 4850 and 780G Video Chip. Also consider overclocking the 9600 because Crysis doesn't properly utilize all 4 cores of your CPU so having a higher clock speed will definitely assist in game performance.

  • Thanks..! but i ve tried to OC my Phenom with some tools (AMD Overdrive) and I cant get a good OC ...Can you tell how to OC my phenom enough to play Crysis..it sounds quiet bad though

  • are u runing Vista?!

if so ur runing DX10 nd it lags more then DX9 as this dud ehere is playing in DX9 which is lame to DX10 because DX10 looks nice but lags more...

so if ur runing DX10 thts why ur lags mroe then his does

and what settings are u runing the game at?

  • how can i run it on DX9

  • if you want to run it in DX9 put on your shortcut at the end -DX9

and it will run in DX9 :)

  • i have and intel core 2 quad, Ati radeon hd 4850 and 4.00 gb ram can i play it with 60 fps??

  • yes on all low

  • no i can play it on medium graphics and you not you suck ass bitch

  • i can play it on high you suck ass bitch

  • where is youre problem you motherfucker my live is not the computer that i need a computer like you . And lett me guess you are so addicted to computer games that you have stollen the computer from you´re dad and he is addicted to pc games and porn´s with fat girls so he fucks with you´re mom if he likes fat girls!!

  • you have serious problems. you are the one who is addictet to internet.

i think the reason why you have no friends is that you are one big asshole.

  • AAAh the cool metal gear solid of ps1 sound track

  • ive got a core 2 duo E4400 2.0ghz and maybe ill get the hd4850

do you think its going to run crysis??

  • the cpu could be a bit weak,

    but yea it should run

  • a better processor will help but you will be able to play crysis

  • I have the hd 4850 4GB of ram and a PhenomX4 9600@ 2.3 and it only gets 20-25fps

  • butthe phenoms are not as good as the intel processors

  • and one other thing on which do you play

  • @ gaara7809 ..thanks man..actually i utilized my money in changing 8600gts with HD 4850 + i got 650watt corsair PSU(coming tomorrow).now i dont have money for CPU..its 3.2ghz(stock) dual core..can i overclock ? just want to know if i can get high performance with this card on so low resolutions.i dont want to upgrade 17" lcd coz otherwise requirements will increase & it will increase load on proc.. cant i play on high settings with this proc at such low settings?thanks in advance :) take care !

  • When you mentioned that you have 3.2 GHz Dual Core stock, I'm gonna assume that you have the Pentium D. If that's the case, it's gonna bottleneck your card. Not by much, but enough to justify upgrading the processor. You'll still be able to play high settings with 1280 x 1024 resolution. Hope this helps.

    - Air Wing

  • thanks a ton dude :) well i will change my processor & then lcd .. right now m playing games at high settings with HD4850 :D but as you said .. it IS bottlenecking my card .. so change is necessary now .. anyways .. thanks to all you out there .. keep gaming :)

  • Shit man, ive got Pentium D 3.20GHz and im getting more ram and the 4850 tomorrow, when you say bottleneck does that mean its not going to look as good? or will it run slower etc

  • can anyone tell me if i can utilise my HD4850 fully with pentium D 3.2GHZ?? please help as some of my friends said my procy will bottleneck HD4850 .. i play on 17" lcd at 1280/1024 resolution .. nothing more .. & yeah .. i have 2gb ram 667mhz

    PLEASE HELP !!

  • you have to chnge processor its not enough for this card then change screen for 19 c today are good promotions o them maybe you will buy 21 but bigger bad small good 17 is tooo small take 19 lcd . other config is good tkae care guy i ttink i helped you

  • i want to ask u...there's good enough?

    mobo=msi dka790gx platinum

    processor=amd phenom 9950

  • no you must have intel nop amd with amd is crapy

buy mobo from lan party and intel E8500 or if oyu have cahs E8600 then ovlerclock to 5 ghz and you are in home

  • lol

  • what's the fps??

  • Does it really matter? anything above 30 FPS is invisible to the naked eye!

  • yeah, it does matter. it may be invisible to the naked eye, but when playing, you can feel it in the mouse....

  • Wrong. The human eye can seen over 60 fps. Compare a game running at 30 fps and a game running at 60 fps side by side, you will notice that the 60 fps has much more crisp motion.

You will also notice that modern day TVs refresh 60+ per second, not 30.

  • 25-30+ FPS while recording in FRAPs. Above 35 FPS without it. Crysis is VERY playable on High DX9 settings with my rig. Very High DX10 is even playable, but not possible when recording.
