@vanpersieII go to an exautic vet, and ask them for a dna test, it's the only way to tell if your bird is male/female (or if you ever see an egg in the cage, it comes out quite obvious) But besides that it's impossible to tell just with the eyes if the bird is m/f, because they both have the same behavior (Females can laugh too)

Im trying to breed my doves and I dont know if I have 2 males, 2 females, or a pair. I have a snow white and a common ringneck, the snow white mounted the common and she/he didnt do anything but then the white one went hay-wire and started pecking all the feathers off the other and laughing like a female...

I too, have a laughing dove. I bought her being told that she was a "Tangerine Dove". I had noooo clue that they laughed! That was the best surprise ever!!!! Where did you buy yours?

Yup, it's a male =) But the thing is... he's ALWAYS happy lolllll x) Like, when I come back home, he starts singing loud so I hear him, and then I can go open his cage... dude this bird is something else loll He's just like a little puppy :) (But he leaves more shits around though... nothing's perfert I guess ;) )

He's trying to court you because your a female. Dante does that with the girlfriend too. The laughing is either a "your near my turf" or a "HEY PAY ATTENTION TO ME!"
