Ok this is what really fucks me off the most with new versions and old original day bands. Ok the cavaleras were sepultura. The new lead singer n drummer both killed sepultura. I looked at sepulturas version of roots bloody roots a few weeks ago n the singer was basically jumping around and not singing. he thinks is a fuckin olympics event being a fuckin singer. I have both CD's and while I was hoping CC would sound like old school Sepultura it falls flat. The lyrics are lame as hell, seem like he says motherfucker every other word. Atleast Derrick is writing about cool stuff like Dante and Virgil and actually has something to say. The best part about the CC album is the guy playing lead guitar on it, it's really his show. Pick up Dante XXI and give it a chance, if you like metal and Sepultura you will like it!

Max was certainly the main character of Sep. but that was because of his attitude, his singing (of course his playing too), but with no Andreas in the band, also NO SEPULTURA as we know it from their best days. Oh and watch Under Siege carefully, See which guitarist can keep better control of the music.

I've watched this video a bunch, I'm excited for this album. I hope it's the best album with Derrick yet because I think they've been going in the right direction on each one. I love Clockwork Orange too so hope the concept turns out cool.

Sounds to me that Jean doesn't have all the technical skill that Igor had, but he has a passion that Igor probably didn't have for a while. And that's more important at this point. Something to get Andreas fired up and playing fast again.
