I fly Northwest because I prefer flying the best airline in America.
What a shame that the "new Northwest" was stillborn.
I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for my hometown airline, the oldest airline in the United States, and the airline that perhaps did the most to take air travel from biplanes to the 747.
i flew delta twice before. and i cant say that im a big fan. theres no in flight entertainment on its domestic routes. the flight crew on both of the flights was just average. but im glad Delta merged with them. maybe delta can teach them a service in customer service and set the bar high again.
What the matter with Northwest? Every airline has had significant challenges since deregulation. Operating in a hyper-competitive environment with sky-high oil prices has hurt many people---none more than the employees. But this is not the fault of Northwest or her people. The only real exacerbating occurance was the financial rape of NWA by Alfred Checchi, Jr., and his marijauna loving cohort, Gary Wilson. Other than that? It has been a simple struggle for survival.
Canadians viciously attacked aboard this fascist airline!Left in pool of blood! Northwest Airlines Racial Profiling Attack
aaronjamesstory (dot) com They are illegitimate faction and illegally gave 6000 CD's to FBI of personal passenger profiling information . Now we have 72 hour waiting before flying - they are the cause. Also see nwaracialpersecution (dot) blogspot(dot)com/
I know we all have had a rough road at NWA over the past few years, but the one thing we can all do is work for a brighter future. I think we have the best employees in the industry. We have either a passion or love for what we do. So why waste anymore time focusing on the negative. Let's look forward to a better future. After all, we have the power to make change. Merger or not, let's keep smiling and laughing and remember why we started flying in the first place. Fly safely everyone :)
Maybe you didn't read the description, but the person who so kindly posted this said that negative comments were unacceptable. The reality is that there is a new breed of Northwest employees, and we have rallied around our managment team. We are proud to be associated with Team-Northwest, and will do whatever it takes to keep the Red-Tail flying loud and proud! As to the disgruntled ex-employees? We feel badly for you, but we must move forward to provide safe and efficient service.
And to the customers and employees who have negative things to say? You--both groups---better look deep inside your own hearts and see if the problem isn't really with YOU. Northwest stands proud and pure---a wonderous entity toward which all peoples can honor. If there has been a problem? It is with you and your juvenile, shallow, unsophisticated expectations. Cling to NWA. Love NWA. And let her love you back! Long live Northwest Airlines!
Northwest Airlines epitomizes what is right about corporate America: concern for its customers. Loving kindness toward its employees. Care for the communities through Habitat for Humanity. All of corporate America can gather at the feet of Northwest Airlines and learn of their love, their concern, their commitment to virtue. Of course there will be naysayers. But who are these people? Away with negativity! Let us embrace the loving, personal entity that is OUR Northwest Airlines!
Im a NWA employee...working there now "is what it is" NICE VIDEO....nice to feel something postive after all the chaos and low moral...thanks again for the video
Will it be DELTA NORTHWEST or N.W. Delta? Or an entire new name when the merger comes off soon. As delta has more balls now than the almost dead NWA it might just become Delta Worldwide Airlines.
If there is going to be a merger.. it would be a company similar to Air France-KLM. The companies would remain seperate but have a parent company. Delta-NWA. NWA can not move their headquarters without severe penaties to the state of MN. or the Minneapolis Airport.
Er, almost dead NWA? Did I miss something? I know they have had ups and downs, but aren't they the fourth largest carrier worldwide and number one U.S. carrier to Asia? Doesn't sound almost dead to me, but then again, their accountants don't talk to me.
For awhile I was not too fond of NWA but it seems like they have a bright future ahead. I have an interview next month with Compass for an FA position and I hope that all goes well. I soon hope to be part of NWA and Skyteam soon.
northwest has been through some rough times, but as thier employees suggest, if the employees, and costomers have the vison to see northwest with a brighter future. We can all say with great pleasure that northwest will be flying high!!! :)

Great video and great music. Very well done.
I think you will see great things of nwa in the near future to come. Thanks .

Good video, but NWA has a tough road ahead of them.. the employees are really hacked off.. and poor customer service has really dug them a big hole.
Who knows if they can get out of it.. would be sad to see them go under.
