good point. Even in the US at one time getting married at 16 wasn't far-fetched. My neighbor married her husband at 16 in the 1930s in Kentucky.

um every culture had that at one point...this is nothing new..it is just that in certain n societies it is no longer viewed in a good light. I'm not agruing if it is right or wrong. (i wouldn't marry any family member) but in europe arabia and africa many noble familys married their children to first cousins. As a matter of fact most european royal famlies are related LOL. Queen elizabeth and and her husband are actually cousins. Not first cousins ofcourse.
