  • Teddy Pendergrass was at one time during the mid seventies and early 80s a household name in the R&B world. He started out singing with a group called Harold Melvin and The Bluenotes. They had hit records such as "The Love I Lost", "I Miss You", "If You Don't Know Me By Now" and "Wake Up Everybody". Teddy was the lead vocalist on those songs. In 1977 Teddy left the group to persue a solo career which was very successful for a number of years.

Love you, and now going to check out Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes, (for all you kids, that was the group Teddy sang with b/4 going solo!) They are also soooooooo good! Check 'em out! Saw them in Los Angeles, way b/4 I got married or had kids....those were the days!
