Now THIS is what I call a performance to see Gladys Knight and the Pips on Sesame Street was AMAZING and I do remember watching this when I was little and it was the 1st Primetime Special of SS that I ever saw and it was great to see everyone from the puppets and the humans from Gordon, Susan, Bob, Linda, Luis, Maria, David, Gina among others get into the groove was awesome
I miss the good 'ol days of The Street, but Gladys Knight will always be known as The Empress of Soul
*thumbs up* Sesame Street when /it was AWESOME/. When it was loaded with great music and educational pieces. Not political child indoctrination and poor entertainment with talentless celebrities. The new theme makes the original composer roll in his grave.
OMG! Elmo is old! It says 1986, and I was born in 1989. To this day, I still love that show. There's just something about it that still drives me to watch it. Plus Elmo is my all-time hommie on the show. I'd probably stop watching the show if they discontinued Elmo as a character.
WOW this is so cool. Gladys Knight and the pips rock. I wonder what year this is from? Sesame Street rules get rid of the new Sesame Street and bring back the old Sesame Street back to the UK on Channel 4. I would love to visit Sesame Street does anyone know where Sesame Street is and how to get there? Gladys wasn't on Plaza Sesamo singing this in mexican was she? Which part of Mexico is Plaza Sesamo filmed? If anyone has clips of Plaza Sesamo please upload them onto youtube. Gladys rocks.
Babe: Sesame Street is located in the minds and hearts of those who created it and those who grew up with it and if people knew how to get there, they wouldn't be asking, "Can You Tell Me How To Get To Sesame Street", would they? But, all kidding aside, Sesame Street is officially in New York.

I like this version of the song very much in which you see Gladys Knight & The Pips, along with The Muppets dancing along to the Seame Street Theme.
