Name one politician not in government who doesn't ever do that? Seems like a very negative remark to be making. From my experience Ming has always been true to his word and appears to be one of the few in the dail in an attempt to enact change and not to increase the size of their bank account.

That's funny, I always thought a democracy is when everyone does what the majority of the society wants. If that's not populist then I don't know what is. Accusing someone of being populist is just ridiculous, you're basically saying they support the principles of democracy.
