  • I feel your pain! I'm trying to lose weight too, i want to lose about 28 pounds altogether but i don't mind if it's gradual... i find i can go for a few days at a time being good then i slip and spend the next few days eating crap... it's like a neverending cycle ha... I hope you're doing well =)

  • Don't feel bad for cheating! Make sure to get lots of your favorite fruits & veggies & snack on those!

    I think it's best to eat 5-6 times a day, it keeps you from obsessing about food & keeps you from getting too hungry (to the point where you binge on something you wish you hadn't eaten!)

    I'm on week 2 of my raw smoothies & it's going great! I've started making about 10 cups worth (2 meals) using about 30 baby carrots, 6 cups baby spinach, watermelon, bananas, strawberries, etc. So yummy!

  • you inspired me to try the smoothie, today i'm going to ommit the yogurt and add some greens, i even bought spinach and kale, i have carrots to so maybe i'll get thos in there...thats my plan for later.

  • Aww thanks ;) I like the baby spinach best. And I seriously cannot taste it at all! I've been putting TONS in my smoothies! LOL I'll buy one of those bags that has like 8 cups in it & use at least half, if not 2/3 of the bag, for two 5-cup smoothies. Steer clear of watercress though - it's pretty nasty in smoothies! LOL The taste is way too strong & biting. Kale isn't too bad, the flavor reminds me of cabbage.

  • How funny, I was actually more worried about the spinach than the watercress, but I didnt find any that looked good enough to buy so I went with just kale and spinach. Thanks so much and please keep sharing your raw food information its really helpful

  • I have the same problem as far as beating myself up for every little slip-up in my eating habits.

    We just have to leave it and move forward...easier said than done, I know. LOL

  • Totally easier said than done, but I am working on it :)
