jesus... what kind of valvetrain for that rpm? good lord. I'm assuming lightweight everything, triple coil springs, etc. ALWAYS wanted a 10k rpm 1uz, first bid i've seen of one.

sounds like a mix of v8 supercar and nascar, cool. I'm amazed you got 400+rwhp from only 4.0L must be because you can rev it soo high. what rpm does it make peak hp?

peak hp on these cams was at around 10,000rpm. we arbitrarily rev cut it at 9300rpm with the power curve still pointed about 30deg off the page !

new cams are far less exciting, and we'll be develloping another version of this engine back around those original cams and letting it go to 10k rpm

Your engine specs. are very similar to BMW E92 4.0 liter engine.

1UZ is very good engine.

what engine management are you running. And do you have adjustable camgears for that engine?

autronic SM4, runs full vvti so doesnt need adjustable cam gears

theres about AUD$15k cash in the engine alone, but that doesnt take into consideration backyard design/prototype/development costs etc. countless hours lost there, all with no financial value! lol...
