  • THANK YOU 3

  • Why are we the ones who find joy and energy, even a small buzz from the Earths Gifts, in all my yrs of Catholicism, and I am not knocking them, did I hear one word about,.Our Earth Nature, Energy,.Love

  • What kind of tree was that?? It's not tall enough to be and oak... But that would be my natural first assumption. It did have a masculine energy though... BB

  • why would you assume the tree is male?

  • so powerful. i feel the tree's force through your video. i want to sleep next to the trunk. Thank you sister for sharing that wonderful moment

  • Beautiful tree. Blessed be )O(

  • I wish I could be there too! Wow! So so beautiful! It really does look like a wise soul. )O(

  • I could just sit and look at that tree for hours.... Wish i was there!

  • amazing!!

  • That is a freakin beautiful tree right there. i wish i could see it in person.

  • that tree is way too unreal....too beautfiul....deffinatly on old soul

  • Haha...I sooooo get this!! I sit in my back yard all the time, just to spend time with my tree. :D

  • It is a beautiful old tree.

  • it is a breath taking tree.... on you can just set and be at peace with....

  • Why do we call the world mother earth or pirates call their ships "she"?

  • @KaylaPenner because women are much more unpredictable and moody like nature, and closer to it. With the monthly period, the rage that hits us out of nowhere, men are less attached and need rules and boundries, though women are uncontrolable by others but themselves, you never know when a women will turn against you suddenly

  • Why ate

  • typical liberal tree hugger, she refered to the tree as a he, my question is how can you tell a male tree from a female tree? i guess only liberal tree huggers have that ability.

  • Awesome! You live in Georgia if I'm not mistaken, I'm from Savannah an one thing I miss so much about my home town and home state is the huge oaks everywhere. They are so ancient and beautiful and now that I'm in Texas were beautiful trees are scarce this video was a nice little reminder of the heavenly wooden figures that I miss so much back home :( thanks for sharing. You should really come back to YouTube, at least give us an update on how you are doing :)

  • Youre very right there... that is one stunning oak. Oaks speak to me quite a bit, there's three enormous ones outside my house. The nearest one has a sapling oak growing under it, and it reminds me of a mother hen and a chick and it's kinda cute like that. <3

  • WOW! I wish I could be there too. And I'd say that is definately worth the risk :)

  • dude. i got chills when i saw that tree. . . <3 <3

  • I love that tree, for some reason it made me think of the Banyon tree at Cypress Gardens FL. I used to go see that tree every day I worked. Along with a 2000 year old Cypress that was sadly knocked down by Huricane Charlie.

  • wow that is a beautifal tree

  • Chills,Tears,Breathless-so wish I was there-Wise Old Soul indeed!!!

  • I love trees and wow that's a tree I mem I Louisiana there was one like that so old u could feel her spirit !! Had an arm to sit in and talk to her for hours!! Ty for sharing brightest blessings

  • Now THAT is a tree. Holy crap.

  • Bring trees offerings of ash, it's their fertilizer.

  • i love trees... this summer my travels took me to the redwood forest- i stood under those trees and i cried and cried, they were so beautiful!

this one in particular that you pointed out reminds me of the live oaks in New Orleans (where my guy is from), which i love. if only they could talk, right?

    blessed be, TipToeChick et al!

    -assortedcandies

  • I was actually awed when I saw it up close on camera. I mean I've seen trees that had branches growing into the ground but this tree... I'm not sure but it just seemed regal in a sense. I understand why you'd want to get near it.

  • Such a pretty tree i just want to sit in it and stay for hours i would probably fall asleep in it

    Blessed Be!

  • Wow, I wish I could be there too! That is an awesome tree!

  • where is that?

  • That is such a beautiful and amazing tree! I would totally climb the branches to sit and meditate about things. I have a question from your description though. How do you know what your element is? Is it the element that corresponds to your Sun Sign? If so, my element would be fire because I'm a Leo, right?

  • ah your an earth element, that explains it! People born under an Earth symbol are usually really cool people. My best friend in GA was and she was awesome! Seriously, we met in the 5th gradeon the very first day of school and our lives (even in separate states now) have pretty much been in tune since then, but anyways! yeah, all I ment to say was that Earth ppl are very cool, but then i got carried away. MY element is Water! ^-^ <3 .....i just like to share....

  • Love that. I hope it remains as long as nature allows.

  • OH WOW! THAT IS AMAZINGGGGGGGG!

  • Beautiful tree!

  • that looks so fun to climb

  • What a gorgeous tree! Definitely a beautiful place to spend the afternoon just reading or enjoying a nice snack. This makes me want to go to the park this weekend and find a big tree to sit under. :)

  • That is an amazing tree. :)

  • that is an awesome tree!

  • thats tree was rteally amazing

    !!

  • I wanna be a Wiccan (or witch or whatever you wanna call it) but there are three things stopping me:

FAMILY: My family would not aprove. I connect with Wicca strongly spiritually. Now, I am not usually spiritual. I'm (at present) an athiest, and a religion has to be pretty good to get ME to believe in something. My grandmother is Christian and my mum and bro wouldn't like it.

MONEY: Resources like herbs and stuff sound expensive and I don't have a job...

NO COVEN around. Solitary 4 me. Helpme

  • has someone helped you yet? If not mesage me, and if they have I'd love to hear how you've progressed

  • Thanks but I've found a bunch of books on the subject. I'm reading "The Wicca Bible" at the moment. it's a nice religion and I'm considering starting it.

  • Gorgeous tree! I wish we had those kinds of trees up in Alaska....I wanna hug it! *huggles tree*

  • That is a BEAUTIFUL tree ! I wanted to see you hug it though : ) Much love from one tree hugger to another. Blessed Be.

  • Dee... u are the most adorable tree hugger! lol! love the video!

  • Aww, there is this great tree in a park near my house that my boyfriend and I love to visit. We gave it a piece of amethyst once <3 your tree is beautiful TTC! )O(

  • Beautiful! I have a few favorites around my neighborhood. I feel drawn to them as well. They seem like old souls. They feel like friends to me.

  • how do you know which element is your own?

  • I think through Astrology...

Every group of 3 signs have element, exist 4 elements: Fire,Earth,Air and Water:

    Aries, Leo, Sagittarius=fire element

    Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn=earth element

    Gemini,Libra, Aquarius =air element

    Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces=water element

;) I hope that I gived the right answer...

  • Thanks Esperantistik! That makes me fire. Hmm - how would i connect with fire? What are you - how do you connect?

  • My element is Earth.

Your element - fire, makes you strong and with a lot energy inside you. I can tell you more if you contact with me =)

  • I will the another person to say how beautiful that tree is. I live by a park tomorrow Im going to pay more attention to my surroundings in hopes to see a beautiful tree like that and If i dont get to tomorrow, then at least I will of at least taken the time to expierence more of the element.

  • My element is also Earth and I feel really connected to it. That is a gorgeous tree!

    x

  • WOW! what a privilege!

  • That's sucha beautiful tree! In Laguna Beach, California, there are trees that are long like that, but are low.

    They're almost like benches!

  • what type of tree is it?

  • An Oak

  • Oh my gosh! My favourite kind of tree (and it also has a lot of significance in my tradition)!

It is incredible... it must have some 100 years.

  • There is unrest in the forest,

There is trouble with the trees,

For the Maples want more sunlight,

But the Oaks ignore their pleas...

  • Such a beautiful tree!

  • Wow, he looks so old! Definitely a "wise old soul".

I don't know if you've ever been to western Maui, Hawaii, but if you haven't, I think you would really connect with a landmark there called The Great Banyan Tree, in Lahaina. It's many great limbs mostly grow horizontally, outward, and its hanging roots have formed their own tree trunks! It nearly covers the entire street block! It's quite amazing.

Search for this video to see:

"Banyan Tree Park Lahaini Maui Thanksgiving Afternoon 2007"

  • Is that a water Oak?

We have soo many oaks in Louisiana, some of them so old their moss-covered limbs swoop to the ground... they are beautiful

  • wow soooo beautiful :*

  • Wow... I wish everyone could share your love for trees. I see trees as fellow living beings that should not be harmed. I didn't realize untill a few days ago that trees are sort of like children or a little sister... you take care of them and water them until they are able to fend for themselves and watch as they become something beautifual and epic.

That is a beautiful tree and I'm glad that you were able to find time to spend with it.

  • that tree is awesome

  • Wow, that is pretty magnificent.

There's a tree similar to that in the valley near my home. Everytime I go there with my dog I am drawn to it. It has HUGE, thick branches which seem to go on forever and ever and underneath it there is so much space. It's nice when the sun shines through the leaves. It creates pretty patterns on the ground. Beautiful <3

  • Awesome! This reminds me of an activity I was doing today. I've been walking dogs in this one place that has a *lot* of powerful energy for me--a little walking trail in the middle of the suburbs, with a nice patch of grassy area and a beautiful view of a range of mountains not too far away.

And there's a bench I sometimes sit at and just look at these mountains and then later when I'm walking back and forth I feel tremendous. One could say I was also falling in love with this place.

  • So I thought it would be a neat idea to do a grounding and centering exercise out there today, but unfortunately, I was with the dogs, and it was the hour of the day that *lots* of people had their dogs out, which wasn't good because one of mine gets stressed out by other dogs.

So I decided to go back & try again tomorrow at an earlier time when there's less likelihood of other dogs around.

  • Oh wow. thats AMAZING.

  • the tree is something. lol. i has a question. my element is fire, but i don't like it. my friends say that im a very loving, passionate person. now, the only thing that i can think of that fire means is...passion. do u know anything about that????

if u don't that's okay, but I'm a beginner, so any help would be great. thanks. -werelion-

  • Fire is an amazing element, though I might be biased cause it's mine. :)

Fire is loud, passionate, inspirational, enthusiastic, and loving. It's the drive for life and love which is because of it's masculinity. Fire people make great leaders and are always staking a stand for whats right....

  • Manifestations of fire include: sun, all forms of light, volcanos and lave, the big cats especialy lion and tigers, as well as predetory creatures like foxes. THe elementals are: salamander, phoniex, and dragon. Hope that helped :)

  • That looks like an old wise tree and if it could talk can probably tell some awesome stories.

  • Wow, he is amazing! Is it an oak?

  • I believe so

  • That is one beautiful tree! ^-^

  • There was a tree in Owen Park inTulsa that looked a lot like that. We had a few windy thunderstorms and the limbs fell down. I really loved that tree!!

  • that tree is beautiful and heart-warming.

  • Ahh, if that tree could talk what stories it could tell!

    Beautiful

  • "Tree of life" came to my mind when i saw it. Its beautiful!

  • Me too!!

  • I remember there used to be this one fantastic tree near the west parking deck at KSU, and the losers cut it down to make a sidewalk :( I was not very happy.

  • What a beautiful video! It gave me goosebumps, thank you!!
