@MeProDuctions31 I would rather have a pokemon with 'synchronize' at the front of my party. Synchronize gives a captured pokemon 50% chance of having the best nature 'Adament'. I did know about that 'static' skill but thanx for the advice anyway.

I wander if I could chain 39 shinx with 'static' then switch the first pokemon in my party without breaking my chain (I probably wouldnt risk breaking my chain anyway).

@TheIronJosh1 why does it have to be a sad day. Finding any kind of shiny is always exciting for me. Just because it's not a random or SR shiny doesn't mean it's any less. The difference is 1 in 8192 shinnies are like hitting the lottery and poke radar shinnies, you have to work for by following many rules, in my opinion, pokeradar shinnies give me a better sense of accomplishment because I did something to increase my odds of finding the shiny and not just waiting for lightning to strike.

@Seedofwinter chaining is harder than you think. Not everyone can do it! The developer added the poke radar to increase game usage, with out it, I would have stopped playing after beating the elite 4 and completing my national dex. Give it a try before you start saying it's CORNY to find 4 in a day. You're just jealous because you can't do the same...please....the only corn I see are the ones coming out of you nose!

@Seedofwinter I agree with that (after having 2 shinies without ever using the pokeradar) , but since they already made the chaining process and stuff, why not use it to your advantage? it does take a lot of time to catch a shiny even with the pokeradar though.

40 is the chain that I'm on when I found the shiny patch/shiny pokemon. 111 is hours played in the game and 29S is how many super repels I used. I don't know of anyone else who's nicknaming there pokemon this way. Who else have you seen doing it this way?

So that I can remember the chain that I found it on, game time and how many repels I used. It makes each shiny pokemon different from the one caught before or after it, especially when it's the same species.

I just would like to let you know, if your chain were to break, you'd see the current chain in your Poke Radar app disappear right before going into battle.

That way, you can be sure whether or not your chain is going to survive before going in the actual battle, and you don't have to spend the battle worrying if it will or not.

I've probably played over 800 hours of Pokemon combined over my lifetime and I've only ever ran into 3 shiny Pokemon. 2 were on a ROM. 1 of those two I wasted all of my Pokeballs on and didn't catch, and the other I hadn't even gotten Pokeballs yet at that point.

Finally, I ran into a shiny Starly after putting in 330 hours in Pearl. I caught that one :D
