its a kevlar belt for one. and they are bad ass. no slip when ur popin the clutch for wheelies! love my 06 xb12r! except fo rthe fan that runs when u shut it off. i find it very anoying

There's not really a differance of speed and how unstable you feel when it is windy, the bike feels more stable if you aren't hugging the tank. and it best if you open the seat before pulling off the cover, it's faster and you'r less prone to break the tabs off. and to tell you the truth i dont know what the hell that freaking wire does either. but then again i use professional tools when i fix my bike. i personally have a '04 xb9r and i love it. ride safe. where is this filmed btw?

that wire thing.. hooks under the rear seat to hook your helmet too and lock the loops under the seat..so no one jacks ur helmet and u dont carry it.. anyways thats what iw as told at my MSF course.. or soemthign liek that..lol idk i dont use it.. dont wannatake the risk.. or bird poop in the paddin lol
