On level 3 it is possible to collect objects, weapons and john without killing anyone and without meeteng T-1000 - all you need to do is just enter Arcade from backside, quicly get John and get out.

Overall this game sucks. Nice points is that on some levels you can or use brute force or be quick and stealth. Another nice thing is interlevel Driving Mode - road traffick is pretty dumb so this allow to some nice tricks like creating artificial jams and crashing autos

What I liked about this game for the time was that it actually had realistically laid out levels, unlike most platforms of the time, which would be one long platformer-type level. These levels had rooms and doors and whatnot. The mall level was really dense with lots of stuff to blow up and killing the civilians was fun. I think this game was kinda cool.

I only got past the bar in this game I had no clue you had to drive to each location. I thought the motorcycle part was where you had to save John Conner and escape from the T-1000. There's even a truck on the road like the one he drives in the movie.

I own this game for the sake of nostalgia, but for those who look for redeeming factors in this, don't be fooled.

Those who say it is bad are absolutely right.

Most Terminator games back in the 90's and even 2000 are really really bad.

Only ones I recall with some redeeming qualities are; The Terminator Sega CD, The: Terminator Dawn of Fate, Terminator 3: The Redemption (unfortunate more vehicle driving than Terminator control)

I can't talk yet about the games on the PC such as The Terminator DOS, Terminator 2029 + expansion, The Terminator: Rampage, or the later Terminator Future Shock and Skynet.

Personally I feel that the last three mostly to tap into the FPS genre that was taking off at the time and being more of tech demos than games.

Skynet even had some really cheesy FMV sequences as that was also big.

I always thought this game was quite confusing and frustrating. And well, unless you've read the strategies from somewhere, you'll be left absolutely confused as this game gives you no idea on what to do or where to go. Of course the main objective is to retrieve Sarah and John and protect them from T-1000. But they made this game so hard to understand. It's ashame they never thought of remaking this game.
