Hey I'm thinking of getting this board, I'm gonna buy an ASUS 560 ti - but it I wanted to use crossfire with 2 cards would this be able to handle them? I have phenom II x4

@TheZombieRitual Nah, I'm still using my old laptop from Darien's garage. My PC build isn't done yet. I have Steam downloaded but my computer only gets like 5 FPS on games haha so it's kinda pointless to bother with this computer. I've seen some of the prices and sales though. I think PC gaming is so much cheaper then console gaming, plus all the PC exclusives like counter strike and such are awesome.

@NBGCUSTOMS Just sent a text. Yeah PC gaming is great, better graphics than consoles, depending on your graphics card. Definitely going to try and get a job this summer and build a legit gaming PC.

@TheZombieRitual I didn't get the text. Maybe it's my phone? Once I went a week without receiving any texts and suddenly I got like 30 at once... In a dentist chair with sound turned up -_- I have a job, but it's like 1-2 days a week for only like 2-3 hours. so the pay is loooow. I hope to have this PC done by Skyrim's release. Dude Battlefield 3 for PC will have jets and dog fights (not animal dogs, I meant jets lol).

I hope the video card I buy will be ably to support Skyrim. There are SO many different video cards, I barely know which one to choose for like a $300ish budget. Your video card is like a 360 isn't it? 128 bit with 1gb memory.

@NBGCUSTOMS Yeah, it's 1gb. But the graphics processor is older than the one you're looking at, hence the $270 price difference. Your card would be much superior. I was just looking for a cheap card that I can play good games at decent graphics quality, which I am able to do. I can still play stuff like Borderlands on it. The recomended requirements for Skyrim are at least a Geforce GTX 460/Radeon 5850. You should be set with the GTX 570.

@TheZombieRitual That's a load of my chest. I didn't know which to pick from, ATI or Nvidia. But most Benchmarks say Nvidia. You can play Borderlands on your PC? noice! Dude Newegg and TigerDirect have some awesome sales sometimes. Like 12gb of RAM for only 80 bucks!? I'm also gonna get an AMD processor. Not sure which to get though. A 4 core or a 6, people are telling me that games only use 2 cores as of now so a high clocked 4 core would be better?

@NBGCUSTOMS Yeah, Newegg is great. I got my Graphics card and the power supply I needed for it off of Amazon though. And yeah, I can play Borderlands. I got the Game of the Year Edition for like $7 while steam was having a sale earlier this summer. Got Oblivion GOTY for $6 too. I wouldn't overclock you processor, voids the warranty. Get like AT LEAST a dual core. If you don't mind spending $200 on a processor, the AMD Phenom II 6-Core Black Edition is quite rad.

@TheZombieRitual So you spent around 13 bucks for borderlands and Oblivion GOTY editions? when on the box you can't get Oblivion regular edition for under 15 bucks? Lol, Iove steam. yeah the 6 core... what's it called... the AMD Phenom ii x6 1100T 6core is under 200 dollars!

@NBGCUSTOMS Yeah I got Counter Strike, Counter Strike Source, Oblivion, Borderlands, Every GTA up to San Andreas, Day of Defeat, Garry's Mod, CoD4 and Knights of the Old Republic. I just Googled Killing Floor, looks sick, I'll have to buy it sometime.

@TheZombieRitual Yep. I've heard a lot of bad things about Dead Island though. The people who go to like E3 and shit said it's a very slow clunky game that was one of THE worst zombie games they've ever played... I hope they're wrong cuz I was looking forward to that game.

would you say that computer your building could run say skyrim with maxed graphics im 13 and dont know a lot about computers and i wanted to build a good gaming computer but i dont know how much it would cost or what i need to have one. right now i only have an alienware m14x laptop and it overheats like 2 hours into gaming.

You can fast travel for guild quests, so you dont have to walk all the way there, and then back for the dark brotherhood. But only for guilds. Juss sayin ;)
