  • This is a really good video. I liked the detox talk. It makes sense.

  • she sounds educated only because of her degree in the background

  • @mizzzzlondon92 degrees aren't that big, you dullard.

  • what a amazing video..i like it

  • What a great video...and you ARE what you eat, just look at you! So lovely; maybe I can get there too.

  • MILF! <3

  • Thank you for making this video. As a massage therapist it is sooo hard to practice what you preach espescially if you care about the well being of your clients. I'm starting my detox tomorrow! Thanks again.

  • love the vacation analogy :)

  • I'm really interested to hear about your perspective on health care after learning how you worked in pharmacy for several years and changing fields. They're right, your eyes are beautiful and match your necklace well.

  • I would love to see her beautiful eyes looking up at me whilst giving me a massive mouth hug.

  • good job!!

  • Damn this lady is a milf.

  • Rum and coke are out?

  • Cook Thanks Giving every night an I won't hav'ta go all Wayne Brady..... BITCH!

  • Gud Job Dr. Sheffield !!!

    Appreciated :)

  • This is a really good video, THX, never really put it together before, although I do wish there was another word for "gut"...

  • What about WHOLE GRAINS, FISH, NUTS, SOY PRODUCTS, PU-ERH and GREEN TEA??

Thank you for the great video! Dr. Sheffield is amazing!

    un besito

  • good and reasonable tips for a coffee addict. thanks

  • I love you.

  • this video can be summed up as "Something leading up to a scientific point, A SCIENTIFIC POINT SHOULD GO HERE WITH FACTS OR NUMBERS (but is replaced with 'but thats a whole other video in itself')"

  • What size of glass is she recommending?

  • fuck me i never knew people drank alcohol everyday. I only drink about 3 serves on a Sat night and even that can be frowned upon

  • omg, one psychtruth video with no boobs! AMAZING!

  • wtf. all these detox tips are my everyday eating plan...

  • I pretty much eat all the acceptable foods for the detox now and I have noticed that my skin has cleared up amazingly!

  • You're great! please make more videos Dr. Sheffield!! ^_^

  • melatonin really helps with caffeine withdrawal headaches

  • prozac

  • MILF Alert!!

  • I ate some baked beans (from mexico) a week ago and 2 days later I got soo drunk I had to puke. I puked up the beans! they didnt break down!

  • "Master Cleanser" by Stanley Burroughs. If you don't know what she is telling you you must have lived under a rock. 2 or 3 days won't do much she is telling you what you should do for life not a couple days or weeks. MODERATION, PORTION CONTROL are key. Some things she recommended are just old school and wrong. Doctors are indoctrinated.

  • you talked me into it Doll!!!

  • i do this anyways, not helpful

  • It's best to just keep it simple. You want to cleanse? It's a fast. Drop all except water and raw fruits and veggies. 3 days to readjust the body, a week to start cleansing out well, 2 weeks to do some real good, about 2 months to cure illnesses and lifestyle change to stay healthy and feeling great for the rest of your life. The longer you do it the better you body will tell you what it needs. Listen to it!

  • First doctor that actually mentions the adrenal glands...

  • Wow, this woman really doesn't know much about what she's talking about.

I mean, she knows the "do blah blah blah because it's good for you", but she isn't really providing any scientific or medical evidence as to what tapering off coffee or alcohol is doing.

  • @Nyiddle She is keeping it simple for you.

  • @Gnostic279 I don't want simple when it means changing my lifestyle. If someone is telling me that something is good for me, and they don't have any REAL evidence to back it up, I have no real reason to believe them.

I would imagine more people would be interested in more than just talk, but rather, the science behind what she's saying, what specifically detoxing is going to do for my body. It just seems like she throws around words like "liver" and "pancreas" to bolster her advice.

  • I've been doing everything she has said so far for an entire month....I don't feel any better really.

  • So relieved she didn't say to knock off the Monster. So I'm good...

  • @mythtree lol....monster is worse than soda. But I get what you mean, I love it, too.

  • mannn I wish I could cut out alcohol from my diet, its the only thing thats holding me back, I eat healthy and drink no soda, just beer is my culprit. Come exacerbate me. ;)

  • @Slushplop I love beer too. Not that you'd care but I find even the glutens in the brew upset my digestion. I've been tryin to avoid it and having some wines instead (meh, cheapy kinds) and it doesn't upset me, and if i have a lot I have a rough awakening but afterwards I am fine and basically no hangover. It doesnt seem to be a big diuretic for me either which is great so I don't lose tons of electrolytes. Wine is for men too! haha

  • @TehBerbDean I do care that glutens upset your digestion! I tried wine several times its just it makes me so sleepy I can't enjoy myself. No alcohol for 2 weeks? seems almost impossible to me.

  • @Slushplop Hmm...Perhaps do experiments with what you eat and do before hand, and try different wines? I don't know much about wine's but last time I had me some of the clearer stuff (didn't like the staining of my teeth of the darks) and felt really good.

  • this video is DEF not for people who want to build muscle

  • @iceyjr3 During the detox you're probably not taking in the carbs and proteins you require for a build right then but once you start incorporating carbs and proteins again your body will actually respond to it more because after detoxing your digestive system operates more effieciently thus you can better process and accept more nutrients from your muscle building foods. Detoxing is to improve the digestive system which good digestion is needed to build healthy muscle over a long period of time

  • @iceyjr3 why do you want to build huge muscles unless you are a bodybuilder or a fighter?

  • People, if you live in north america.... run your water through a coffee filter or 2 full of activated charcoal.. cheap easy way to eliminate most radioactive elements from your water.

  • Thanks for all of the tips! I love a good detox cleanse... I have been getting into juice cleanses lately! :)

  • you are so wonderful !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I binge on root beer, but at least it's root beer made with real sugar and not HFCS.

  • I drink green tea instead of coffee. Wondering if that is a healthy alternative....

  • @Travelswithdan Yes it is - better caffeine and no sugar

  • @IHACKER316 thanks for reply

  • Comment removed

  • @Travelswithdan me too! with honey.

  • @whispers83 I feel better drinking Green Tea even though I don't get that coffee/caffeine buzz like I do from coffee.

  • This woman is beautiful, often the testament of good diet.

  • @stellarshore I would eff her like an animal.

  • @DemonicSymphonic She's an angel, come on bro.

  • fricken owls all the time...wtf

  • her eyes are amazing

  • Switched to chiropractor.

These sorts of things lead to revolutions

  • cum shot

  • I think that in order to live healthy we gotta be doin that stuff all the time not just for 2 weeks...

But of course everyone has weakness(s)

    Mine are

    Animal products &

    Caffine & chocolate

  • @WeedPeaceSerenity If you're willing to travel, and/or order your animal products there's nothing wrong with consuming them. In fact I, and many other believe meats (and fats) from healthy animals (grass fed ruminants for example) are the some of the healthiest things you can eat on the planet. And cocoa, in and of itself can be beneficial. (by an antioxidant affect, or hormesis, its controversial) And never forget your sunlight for vitamin D people. aand...Coconut oil for the win.

  • @TehBerbDean I just picked up some organic virgin coconut oil!! :) you use it as butter? rub it on your gums? How to win with coconut oil?

  • @Slushplop well I like to get a hold of the stuff that's tasteless, but I have gotten the virgin coconutty stuff too. Try to use it wherever u can I spose. I mix it with like everything i eat. I'm strapped for cash otherwise I'd be consuming high quality tallows and lards too. Ya, use it as butter, for extra calories to fill you up, on ur skin, fry with it, all that good stuff. I'd hope that anyone consuming a lot of fat has a "efficient" metabolism, and no I don't mean just a "fast" one either.

  • soda, not seltzer water, right? I live on seltzer water

  • Thank you, Doctor, this just reinforces everything especially about coffee....

  • Great analogy with vacation :) Thanks for the videos and explanations :) Why not just go and get enema ? It will clean the guts.

  • @TheSweetPerry enema's do clean the last portion of the colon but not the entire colon though. Colonic Irrigation cleans the entire colon but I figure that what you eat still matters more than a cleaning you do once or twice a year. Being healthy is a daily activity. Just my view though.
