In my honest opinion, although as one of the earlier Vocaloids people can't easily do crap with it, I STAND BY MY VIEW THAT THEY SOUND BETTER. They sound like actual people when controlled by people who know what they're doing. Meiko and Kaito sound 5 times better than most of the V2s.

I love Meiko but people should stop trying to make her sound like Miku. She's MEIKO not MIKU! She's meant for a low pitch not a high pitch. Certain vocaloids are created to reach certain points... Miku was high pitched and Meiko was low pitched. The only reason she often doesn't sound good is because people make her sing too high when that's too much and it's Miku's job! Accept the fact that she's kickass when she has a low voice! ;p
