i always felt sorry for Lucifer he was god's favourite until he questioned the new animal human as being best. And god had a plan for an opposite to heaven so god goaded Lucifer to fall to reign in that realm. Poor poor shining light.

Why not try this explanation. Jesus is the light as acknowledged in the scriptures and there in acknowledged that satan will pose as the angel of light. Isn't Lucifer meaning light angel of light. Then your Jesus is Satan something like 'another part of me' so yes he is the ruler of this world. The world adores him in his various forms and they are many as the religions.

To say we believe in Jesus Christ yet fail to acknowledge Satan is part of the reason 'Believers' fail to share the true message of the gospel. Darkenss is measured by the absence of light & cold by lack of heat yet both can be experienced. Debating what is real and what is not does not bring glory to God & wastes time. Any action not born of love (of which I've often been gulty) fails Glory. Grace alone saves our asses because LOVE has already come & won-we are to emulate His love in our life.

Satan rebelled against GOD and his fate will be permanent death, according to Ezekiel 28:18-19. God's laws are the standard by which all will be judged. Satan will not pass this equitable judgment.

The Bible was written over the course of centuries, penned by over 40 authors, yet reads as ONE MIND. The prophecies that have been fulfilled so far, have been fulfilled with 100% accuracy. It is reasonable to deduct that the Bible is a supernatural doing and a message to mankind from the Author, the ONE GOD.
