help meeee please

i have two cats one is long haired and one is not but everytime i try to towel dry them it does not properly dry them and then when i bring out the hair dryer to dry them they never stay still and hiss at the dryer... this leaves my cats quiet wet :( ( how do you get your car to stay so still and calm..?) P.S yout cat is very adorable..xx
