@jkoeni2 i just got into smallville, but i have seen alotta people with the same opinion as you, in regard to the whole wasting the last season,most people want is to see him in the show that hints at a future relationship, like lex hires some thugs, a from gotham, & bruce is among them, as part of his training to understand the criminal mind. throughout the episode clark& co recieve help but they dont have any idea who it is, until the climax the blur catches him n he smirks n says later kent

When Clark finally puts on the tights is around the time Bruce returns to Gotham.

Please don't screw up the timeline of Batman like they did Green Arrow for the sake of ratings.

But I guess if you feel that Smallville is in the same universe as Batman Begins they could squeeze in Bruce.

But I don't know if Chris Nolan would agree with that presumption...

According to DC Bruce leaves Gotham and begins training abroad at age 14 and is away for 13 years, I think he comes back a couple of times briefly and once enrolled in fbi school (at 20).

How about Thomas Dekker as a young Bruce Wayne and Anthony Stewart Head as a young Alfred. Thomas is in his twenties so I think he could do it. Both are great actors. Plus sadly Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles got axed so Thomas has an open schedule. Though I think Head is doing a show right now so he'd probably be too busy.

To them Batman is better for the movies and television would be a step down.
