whoa! its perfectly done, the cigar not shaking nor rotating how was that? its well balance, been trying to do this my own way but can't prevent it from rotating, been working on this trick for weeks and still not its not perfectly done yet, i'm thinking about adding another string for balancing

@makmak you should try to put the cigarrte a litlle bit inclined to the right like the video it works for me, buecause when you put it exactly balance it start to spin.

Actually... Cigaretts tend to stick to saliva, so for the first few seconds the cigarette is held by the saliva. A tooth has been pre-wrapped with two strings (stability is key in this trick) so the tongue can slightly lift and lower the string without being noticed. This is done while the leftover saliva holds the finger and the cigarette together at the eighteenth second. the thumb acts as a pulley for the string as it is moved by the tongue inside the mouth. Rather a primitive trick.

you know, it's a great illusion. and illusion is the key word here. when a trick is preformed well, it doesn't matter if 'everybody' knows how it's done. if it's done well, and entertains folks, than it's all good. it has been my experience that despite the facy someone asks 'how did you do that!' they really don't want to know, it robs them of the wonder. i say leave them with a bit of mystery.
