  • A Martini is GIN, not Vodka!

  • what an idiot how has he still got a bar job

  • I'm bartender from London and I'm really Sorry for that italian guy. Extra Dry Martini (vodka)... ??? should be Gin.

  • He's doing a fuckin' vodkatini, not a Dry Martini!

  • u arent good in the ktichn? 0.0

  • he fills her up then fucks her .. ;D

  • shouldn't the glass be chilled? and shouldn't it be gin?

  • he said "stirred not shaken"...

  • Martini is mostly gin and small bit of vermouth

Dry Martini is almost all gin

Wet Martini is adding more vermouth

    Vodka Martini is using vodka.

At least that's what wikipedia told me

  • Most of his cocktails ARE wrong but I gotta defend this one as vodka can be an alternative to gin, which btw is the regular one. Also, vermouth can alternatively be removed before mixing, just to add a scent of it.

  • Fuck...XD He looks like an archetype of Don Juon doing your girlfriend behind your back. And this woman...jeezz looks like she is about to get fucked in all of her holes after this video, for a whole fucking night by mister Barmannicus Smoothicus Scumbagus.

  • My Martini:

About half a shot of Vermouth over a boston full of ice, strain it out once it has laced the ice with vermouth. Add 3 parts Gin (bombay is my preference). Stir. Serve. Lemon Twist or Olive garnish (whatever is handy really).

  • Vodka martinis should ALWAYS be shaken, gin martinis should NEVER be shaken.

  • @Arexor Not true. Cocktails that contain only spirits and very light mixers should be stirred. Vodka and gin martinis included. Otherwise you'll dilute the drink too much. Drinks that are shaken are done so to mix the ingredients.

This drink I would consider as a 'dry vodka martini', extra-dry martinis would involve dumping the vermouth. A martini without any prefix would be made with a little bit more vermouth and with gin.

  • @pedantic79 Good point, but many a spirits were originally ment to be enjoyed as a spice for water, so one part gin, cognac or whatever to a glass of water was not unheard of in the naval times or so. Gimlet, shaken, with plymouth and fresh lime is a salute to all of gins herbs.

  • Damn you softporn ;)

  • it's "shakin', not stirred" YOU IDIOT!!!

  • @BattenburgBoy sorry man but once in his life, raffaele was right

  • mmm bueno yo lo hago en vez de vodka lo hago con gin mi estimado Raffaele Brattoli, pero es tú manera...

  • i will give you a tip, put couple drops of the dry vermouth in the glass take the glass around with you hand then put you gin o vodka into de glass shake and cool.it must be with olives or twis of lemon .good look.me friend.

  • how can that be really soft? that's almost a straight up vodka.

  • Double shot and a half?

    isn't that just 3 shots?

  • this guy is an idiot

  • is it me or at 1:03 or 1:05...not sure...but I clearly hear ass to mouth?

  • Actually that's a Vodka Martini or Vodkatini if you like.

  • hello im alex lovell, and i want rahael's dick in and around my mouth

  • @BIZ3LE I knew a guy named alex lovell and he did suck a lot of dick. maybe its you

  • @frizzzzzzal good come back douche bag

  • 1) 0:12 - shouldn't you reply hello to your guest?

    2) difference between THE MARTINI & Vodka Martini - discuss

    3) so, no need to chill your glass?

    4) 0:46 - isn't "double shot" & a half, 3 shots?

PS. please could some-one tell me what is he saying between 0:29 - 0:32? - never drink behind bar! LOL

  • @Osc1llateW1ldly haha he clearly says 'rock, g,,gl..rocks...ICE'

  • This is actually a wet vodka martini. A dry martini would have the vermouth stirred then discarded, then gin added and stirred, strained, serve.

  • I'll go with,

1 part of Italian Vermouth (I prefer Martini Bianco)

    5 parts of Gin

    Stir well

    Garnish with 3 olives..

  • @palindrome06 Agree, I'm a bit more of a gin guy. I've always felt that vodka is less exclusive, dno why :)

  • why is everyone questioning this? you can have a dry vodka or dry gun, the dryness refers to how much vermouth is used. less vermouth = dry martini..

  • Am I the only one that dont understand most of what this dude is saying?

Besides, there is almost hundreds of different ways to make a martini.. this just being one of them I guess..

  • urm, your meant to drain the vermouth or martini extra dry after stiring and pre to adding gin. the vermouth reacts with the gin and doesnt need to be left in the drink, it will overpower it and ruin the overall taste.

  • so its a vodka martini, not a dry martini.

  • @swedensbravedave you can have dry vodka martini's.. the dryness is simply stating how much vermouth you drain out of it before adding the chosen spirit..

  • what a milf

  • you damp the martini man and the glass is not child

  • Wheres the fckn gin !! And chill the glass for god sake!!

  • RRRafael is hot!

  • how many has she had by now?

  • If this place is sooo exclusive and high class why is he measuring out his shots and not counting...

  • @tristan2010 if you have the time and you are making a classic like a martini then you should always measure. Negroni, Manhattan, Old Fashioned. whats worse is the fact that he didnt chill the boston or the glass before making and serving. without doing that you dont get the temp low enough. i'm pretty sure its because of the cameras though.... he was probably getting bored with making drinks and wanted to take her out back lol

  • secondo me è il migliore

  • that's a vodka martini.. it's not a dry martini

  • dry martinis dont retain the vermouth, u need to coat the ice then discard

  • Ohh no..... first step - ice and water in to cool the glass while mixing! And whats going on with the vodka :O Its Ginnnnnn!

  • and hes not mixing it right...

  • dry martini prepare to gin no vodka......stupid

  • @gaetano3585 Gin/Vodka, Dutch/Russians, big difference. I am sure James Bond would appreciate this plus the olive and Shaken not stirred then he would be a very happy man so you are the stupid one my friend...

  • the martini glass is not cold ....

  • Yeah! ahahahaha! What a dunk! Retard! At least he could serve it as a Vodka Martini!!! Why is it called a Martini? "..is a little bit of Martini Dry in it" LOL!!! AmadoRrr

  • Hey hey hey, its fucking gin in a dry martini what the hell is going on here?

  • @Reak55 Exactly. Vodka Martinis are ghastly and say that as a big fan of vodka. But GIN is what makes a great Martini. I use 9cl of Plymouth gin, 1.5cl of Carpano Antica vermouth. I might try Beefeater 24 soon though as it sounds delicious!

  • @GordonMorrice you use sweet vermouth in a martini?

im assuming you mean Carpano Antica Formula vermouth?

  • @Reak55 I know what your thinking, buts its not a dry martini its an extra dry martini. But still, gin is better in a martini.

  • @Reak55 AMEN !

  • I was trained to always use all glass and no metal objects in a Martini process: Notice he uses a mixing glass - then spoils it (in theory) with a metal spoon and metal strainer. One could simply use a clean 'bucket' glass (a larger sort of rocks glass) placed upright on top of the ice in the mixing glass swirl and strain into a chilled martini glass. A really picky customer might notice this, -Most wouldn't (until now! - smile).

  • No offence Fuff63, but that is a bit superstitious. And IF you want to use all glass, then go for a glass stirrer.

  • VODKA????no no no ..... it s GIN....

  • The "dry" in martinis refers to the type of vermouth (dry, as opposed to sweet), not the amount.

  • @EricLAngle no it's not the type of vermouth... it's the quantity of dry vermouth only which has no colour... sweet vermouth is RED... and is never used in a martinis... with extra dry martini you coat the ice with dry vermouth then discard it. for a wet martini retain vermouth and pour the gin over it and stir. Enjoy

  • the garnish for martinis could be lemon twist, olive, olives or onions..there is no original garnish..

  • personally i like vodka cocktails to be shaken. gets the air into the drink.

but i only ever have gin, and that's stirred of course

  • - original martini should be with gin

    - the glass should be chilled

    - when you poor it it should be double strain

    - didn't stirred enough

    that's what i pesonally think

  • u r right and i think the same xcept on the stirred part, since its a demo and not a real one, im guessing they have theyr mins counted, but yes, this is the vodka martini, and if u ant to go classic, you should use olives, not a dash of lemon.

  • @nosoypez well... usually you only use olives if the Martini is "dirty" if its not, then a lemon twist is good... but its up to preference.

  • @kennyescorza NO. you use a little bit of the juice in wich the olives are for the dirty martini. By using just the olives you dont get the whole dirty look, since the mix is still cristal clear, and you are missing the flavor of the olive juice. As i said, if you want to go classic, use olives... The lemon stuff is just a twist to the classic dry martini. Cheers.

  • @nosoypez Yes I know that! The olive juice makes it cloudy and "dirty" but I thought u were talking about just olives? haha I'm sorry.. I actually made a dirty martini today at work. So I know what you are talking about.

  • absolutly agree with all you say.
