Wonder why those "healing angels" never show up down in Africa or India and heal some of the kids who are starving or don't have clean drinking water? @pekclement Todd posted an article on his website years ago telling people how "Emma" the angel had started the Kansas City Prophes in the 80's and how she was now appearing in his meetings. I copied the "Angelic Host" article and kept it just in case he showed up in a church near me. I was surprised when he actually showed up in this revival at Lakeland. Of course, Peter Wagner and his cohorts swooped in trying to get a share of the offering plates.
Why don't we just ask God through Jesus Christ for what we need? Why send an angle to administer anything like gold or prophesy. Isn't that what the Holy Spirit does? In the bible an angel of God delivers a message or does the bidding if God. Some of these results are devastating. But Satan comes as an angel of light. There's really nothing to think about here. It all what Jesus said it was going to be. God knows mans heart. Why send a women looking angel?

Please enlighten us as to where the Bible promises us that we can see Heaven and angels, and where the Bible says we are going to have a revival. My Bible says that apostasy is coming, and Todd is evidence that the Bible is true.

Last I checked, angels didn't have healing power. They're messengers & warriors, but not healers. Where is the scriptural basis for this idea? I think people can easily get off track when they start focusing on the vehicle rather than the driver of it.

Can God use a false prophet? Yes because God honors his own name and word even if the preacher doesn't.

The only angels mentioned by name are Gabriel and Michael, the other one Lucifer who was cast out of heaven. He does not agree with the Bible so he is definitely false.

@wonone100 The Bible does not, in my understanding, name every angel in heaven. The argument that an angel does not exist because it is not in the Bible is rather like saying that an evil spirit does not exist because it is not in the Bible. The Bible is not an exhaustive concordance of the heavenly realms. Paul quotes an experience of someone being taken up into the third heaven of which it is not allowed for one to speak. Such revelations cannot then be in the Bible.

If Satan can appear as an angel of light, then we know those who followed him can do the same. Nothing ever is mentioned about searching Emma out to see if she truly was from God, but you know, ole todd just read or study God's word, If he does, then this makes him even more liable for his teachings.

Hi, happyface. I suspect that Todd really doesn't believe much of this at all. He is a great showman and seemed to be making a pretty good living with his low key web site ministry based in Canada. He could make wild claims for African revivals to solicit funds. When he came to Lakeland for the Revival I think he let the roar of the crowd go to his head. When the news people show up he couldn't support his "stories."
This Emma, from what I have heard, is demonic. Remember, Satan can appear as an angel of "light". Is what is happening comform to the word of God? Try the spirits to see if they are of God.

People believed that an angel came and stirred it. According to local tradition, the first one in the water would be healed. But the Bible nowhere teaches this kind of superstition, a situation which would be a most cruel contest for many ill people. No extant Greek manuscript before A.D. 400 contains these words.

Todd had recently removed ALL references to Emma from his web site, and was now trying to claim there was no female angel directing him. I copied the article when I ran across it in 2004 during some research on the occult in the church. Our pastor had gotten involved with some of the Peter Wagner and Mark Chironna new agers. I thought Todd was even too nuts for them, but he wasn't.
Hmmm, you may be right about him distancing himself to this Emma, but I truly believe that the Lakeland Outpouring was a genuine move of God, despite some of the flaws of Todd. This must be judged by the fruits of it. There are many documented healings and testimonies of people who were touched by God during this Outpouring. During Pentacost the apostles appeared to be drunk, judging merely by appearances is shortsighted. I personally have been touched by this Outpouring when it came to Atlanta.

He is a great "story" teller and he was picked up by a group of international scam artists connected with Peter Wagner and his association of perverted "prophets." I copied the "Angelic Host" article and kept it just in case he showed up in a church near me. I was surprised when he actually showed up in this revival at Lakeland. @wonone100 The Bible does not, in my understanding, name every angel in heaven. The argument that an angel does not exist because it is not in the Bible is rather like saying that an evil spirit does not exist because it is not in the Bible. The Bible is not an exhaustive concordance of the heavenly realms. Paul quotes an experience of someone being taken up into the third heaven of which it is not allowed for one to speak. Such revelations cannot then be in the Bible.

God named only two angels for us and to say there is an Emma is delusion and adding to the Bible.
The Bible is most certainly the exhaustive concordance of not only the heavenly realms but of all things in existence.

Thanks, Cyrusgreg, I found the article on his site in 2003. At that time I thought he was so outrageous that no one would pay any attention to him, but I started mailing out the articles just in case people ran across him....and sure enough Peter Wagner's people tired to make him into a "Star."

If Satan can appear as an angel of light, then we know those who followed him can do the same. Nothing ever is mentioned about searching Emma out to see if she truly was from God, but you know, ole todd just read or study God's word, If he does, then this makes him even more liable for his teachings.

I ran across the article in the INFO PANEL on Todd's web site several years ago. I thought he was so outrageous that no one would ever pay any attention to him, but I copied it and starting sending it to everyone I could get to read it. There are no female angels in your Bible (anywhere)! EVERY reference to angels are ALWAYS MALES and NONE are ever referenced to have wings (Acts 1:10)!
The only reference to a female angel with wings like the one you probably put on top of your Christmas tree is found in Zech 5; of which flies around in a UFO and the Lord calls wickedness!

Hi, happyface. I suspect that Todd really doesn't believe much of this at all. He is a great showman and seemed to be making a pretty good living with his low key web site ministry based in Canada. He could make wild claims for African revivals to solicit funds. When he came to Lakeland for the Revival I think he let the roar of the crowd go to his head. When the news people show up he couldn't support his "stories."

Ok, you may be right about this, but Todd never says that this angel, Emma, in particular, is guiding him in the movement of the Lakeland Outpouring. He mentions one in the video, but denies that the one in it is Emma.

Hi, Scott: Todd was trying to distance himself from "Emma" like he didn't know who she was. Todd had recently removed ALL references to Emma from his web site, and was now trying to claim there was no female angel directing him. I copied the article when I ran across it in 2004 during some research on the occult in the church. Our pastor had gotten involved with some of the Peter Wagner and Mark Chironna new agers. I thought Todd was even too nuts for them, but he wasn't.

Hmmm, you may be right about him distancing himself to this Emma, but I truly believe that the Lakeland Outpouring was a genuine move of God, despite some of the flaws of Todd. This must be judged by the fruits of it. There are many documented healings and testimonies of people who were touched by God during this Outpouring. During Pentacost the apostles appeared to be drunk, judging merely by appearances is shortsighted. I personally have been touched by this Outpouring when it came to Atlanta.

Wagner's list of perverted prophets, scam artists, and drunks almost make a carnival side show look like a Sunday School. Kim Clement teaches new age doctrine. Mark Chironna actually sold his material on occult web sites. The original Lakeland revival in 1993 ended with Karl Straders' son going to jail for 40 years for fraud, actually blinking people in his Dad's flock.

I was there the night that he said this. And you're right, he rarely uses scripture and when he does it's usually a stretch out of context. The night after this he said that 1000 people were going to give 1000 dollars. Based on a scripture that had NOTHING to do with that sort of thing.

HI blondedoll007, I think it is safe to say Todd has never preached a sermon. He is a great "story" teller and he was picked up by a group of international scam artists connected with Peter Wagner and his association of perverted "prophets." Wide spread expouse was more that the "story" teller could stand. He just didn't know when to stop the stories.
