@ilikeicecream96 OTG stands for On/Off the Ground, a move that can hit the opponent while they are knocked down and often used to continue combos. DHC stands for Delayed Hyper Combo, where while a character performs a hyper combo, entering the input of the next character in your lineup will cause that character to tag in and perform that hyper.

@oiuuu123 he cancelled the samurai edge into a team hyper combo but since wesker only had one bar only his hyper combo came out in other words after samurai edge press both assist buttons when you ONLY have one bar or it just wesker this is the only way it works

I want this game .How likely is it that this is being heavily used? It doesn't exactly seem like scaling is supposed to reset this way, since even now I see two-hyper bar knockdowns in your vid, and they don't look too difficult to perform even on Thor and Haggar (I read that they have high-ish if not near highest health).

@Jadriam if you're just playing online, it's unlikely you'll see these methods being used (there are exceptions, of course, in the higher ranked players). in tournaments, however, this is common play.

That's just a DHC in general.

This trick involves doing specific hypers into other specific hypers in order to maximize potential damage.

I'm having the same problem with the KA Grapple too, but with Gunshot otgxxMW, that OTG is not cancelable normally. However, you can cancel it with a THC, so in the vid, it gives the illusion that he's canceling the GS with MW, but he's actually using a THC. Hope that helps

Trag, I'm wondering... How practical is starting with Wesker's command grab into the glitch? You'd only get about 80k or so damage from the grab, and spend two meters dhcing for basically, a command grab with unscaled damage and maybe a combo with a character who's powered up(Like Dante's Trigger or Zero's Sougenmu)

Worth it? :O

No actually, I've tried with my team of Wesker/Zero, and if you choose to do Maximum Wesker instead, you have to cancel IMMEDIATELY(If you hit them, the spin won't even happen), and since you need to throw>input hyper relatively quickly, they'll be right next to you when you activate, thus making you dhcing before you hti them a bit more.. problematic. :P Hope I helped!

So far my favorite DHC "trick" combo is Spencer's into Wesker so much damage for very little effort definitely recommend that combination of characters for people looking to utilize this with minimal effort for lots of damage.

Jesus Christ, that insane extended Dante combo! It's like you just wanted to use ALL of Dante's add-on attacks in one combo, although you didn't do the Volcano add-on.

@trag13 well, I can only do the "partial" cancel of hit-stun, and the opponent does go into the untechable stun animation, but the damage output definitively isn't reset. I'm trying it with Deadpool's Cuttin' Time (cancel before final hit) to Zero's Sougenmu.

@bonneless You need to bold cancel in order to do beowulf alfter stinger..I have been uploading more bold cancel vids myself..it's the best thing to do with dante to increase damage..and make possibilities open up like beowulf after for example.

@bonneless His initial state of a special will show him change to the special, it's in that state before the attack hits that you do a special change. so when you see Dante preparing to do the stinger but before it hits do the stinger motion one more time to do the beowulf slam. Whats good about this move is also if your in the air and your doing Dante's bullet rain, after you do that normally you can't block on your way down if you do the beowulf you get to block again.

To all the ppl saying this is hard to do its really not. I've been playing jill/Dante/tron and I've hit it online a couple times from jill raven spike dhc - devil trigger otg Dante combo. Depending on the combos used I can get close to a million DMV w/o xf & I've only had Jill maybe 3 days.

I was wondering, since both Wesker and Dante can DHC trick to each other, what would happen if the trick was started off of Wesker's mustang kick, but Dante later comboed into grapple, and then used million dollar and dhc'ed before hitting to rhino charge? Would this cause the dhc trick to occur twice in the same combo? (Though, it would be an impractical combo requiring 5 bars of hyper meter to start)

It's things like this that turn me off to this game. Not just saying in combo videos like this, but have seen it in tournaments also. The idea that you can get hit just once and then lose control and just have to sit there while they do a 30 sec or more combo on you that takes all your life. In other games even if you really suck you still feel like you can try and do something, in this all you can do is wait and hope they drop the combo while the other guy plays a single player combo game.

They should seriously call this game Choking VS Dropped Combos 3. Doing flashy combos in training is totally different from doing them in a match. You probably won't see them too often in live play. And if you do see them, and you get destroyed, then you deserve to lose, because you've probably been beaten by a better player.

I don't know if this is always the case, but since the description says you don't know a way to reset the trick, in my testing air teching resets the trick. For example, if Storm does s.L, wait, DP+PP, DHC into Morrigan dd+PP, that will work, but if she does s.L, wait, S, wait and let them tech, then DP+PP, DHC into Morrigan dd+PP, that won't work.
