Where do you get the wooden spindles to wrap the dough around? Or what kind of wood is typically used, I may be able to turn my own or have a friend do it.
The wooden rolls and all accessories are sold as a package with the kurtos kalacs oven.
Manufacturers don't sell their secrets easily but I found out on a Hungarian forum that the wooden rolls are of steamed beech or maple, because these don't contain resins, withstand heat very well and don't crack.
Try also shops and second hand stores with household items.
ever since I saw one video of this it's just sparked a fascination and now I'm obsessed with this XD It's just such a fascinating way to cook. I could watch this over and over.
