My fave leo dicaprio movies are these ten 1. What's Eating Gilbert Grape. 2. The Quick and the Dead 3. The Basketball Diaries 4. Inception 5. Marvin's Room 6. Shutter Island 7. Blood Diamond 8. The Beach 9. This Boy's Life 10. Catch Me If You Can.
This is a very decent film. Plenty of "spaghetti western" touches and fun good/bad characters. Not a classic by any stretch of the imagination but great fun and plenty of repeat value. I thought that Gene Hackman's John Herod was very similar in character to Little Bill in Unforgiven.
Anyone who loves "Kill Bill" + revenge movies needs to see this film! Stone is incredibly hot...and cool! Herod: "You're not fast enough!" Ellen: "Today I am." One of the greatest westerns ever, cliches and all.
For those of you who don't know, especially all of you diehard Leo DiCaprio fans, in the part where Sharon Stone's character [as a little girl] kills her father, the father is played by Gary Sinise [who was Lt. Dan in" Forrest Gump"!]. Also, in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?" Gilbert, Arnie's [played by Leonardo Dicaprio] brother, was played by Johnny Depp! Just thought I'd let you know, in case you were interesting in Leonardo DiCaprio, or had a question about the cast of "Quick and the Dead"!
That's pretty interesting info, augustabess! Other cool trivia is that the director, Sam Raimi, incidentally, is married to Lorne Greene's youngest daughter. As many people know, Lorne Greene was a legendary Western screen hero in the famous TV series "Bonanza".
omg leo died in that movie so sad how many more movies is he going to die in :( he sounded the same when he was arnie in a diffrent movie (the part where he was dying)
I love the scene where Leo sidles up to Sharron Stone and says, "They call me the Kid." I always think, well yeah, you're twelve. What the hell else are they going to call you?
Sorry (I have to say this because I kind of collect movies and I have most of his) He doesnt die in The Basketball Diaries Marvin's Room This Boys life, The Aviator, Gangs Of New York, The Beach, The Man in the Iron Mask, Most of his early movies, Baz Luhrman killed him first (:-)
Leo died?? Again??? I wish he'd live just for once!! LOL What did you guys think of him as Arnie in What's Eating Gilbert Grape? Wasn't he just so irresistible in that? And he lived!!! So cute!!!!!!
'The Quick and the Dead'is a GREAT movie!!! LOVE it!!!
Thanks for uploading the behind the scenes footage and interviews with Sharon Stone, Gene Hackman, Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe...all of this is outstanding, ThisIsMyBoomStick!
