This is a very decent film. Plenty of "spaghetti western" touches and fun good/bad characters. Not a classic by any stretch of the imagination but great fun and plenty of repeat value. I thought that Gene Hackman's John Herod was very similar in character to Little Bill in Unforgiven.

Anyone who loves "Kill Bill" + revenge movies needs to see this film! Stone is incredibly hot...and cool! Herod: "You're not fast enough!" Ellen: "Today I am." One of the greatest westerns ever, cliches and all.

For those of you who don't know, especially all of you diehard Leo DiCaprio fans, in the part where Sharon Stone's character [as a little girl] kills her father, the father is played by Gary Sinise [who was Lt. Dan in" Forrest Gump"!]. Also, in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?" Gilbert, Arnie's [played by Leonardo Dicaprio] brother, was played by Johnny Depp! Just thought I'd let you know, in case you were interesting in Leonardo DiCaprio, or had a question about the cast of "Quick and the Dead"!
