When I lived in Memphis I would wake up faithfully to hear this man weave the Bible story from the pages of the Holy Writ into a living daily application for the eager listener to feast on. I had many opportunites to share with Dr. Ray and I have a tremendous respect for him. What difference does it make. DR.RAY is an annoited man of god. For the record, he does have a master's and a bachelors. I attended both graduations, but was unable to attend his doctoral ceremony in Georgia this spring. He is an annoited man of God. When all is said and done, what else matters?

my pastor was awarded and honorary doctorate degree from memphis theological seminary here in memphis for his contributions to the arena of preaching,and memphis theological is fully accredited and highly recognized across the country.and he just graduated over a month ago with his actual doctorate so either way it goes he is a "doctor".

Let me say this as a memeber of Salem now going on 7 years as well as one of his associate ministers, Pastor Ray does not hate anyone. Secondly, why can't we enjoy this clip without debate? I lived in Memphis for many many years. I used to buy his tapes until the young man thought it was a joke that I was a preacher and then began to tell me his pastors thoughts about women who preach. I asked him about gina stewart. He waid he let her in the pulpit because "they" had done her so bad. He told me how he offered an inviation to ministers to come to the pulpit and 2 women came up and Ray almost died laughing.
