  • what a waste of money.........

  • nice to know how it's made but .... i'm not looking forward the day i use it ...

  • Whats sad,Funeral homes charge Thousands when you can buy online 1/4 the price. 1-866-586-6490

  • ....I'm being cremated and made into a firework......

  • this is so useless, wasting good materials

  • I'm going in a cardboard box. Nobody is going to pay for THIS shit! In the ground in my cardboard box. Such foolishness...give your kids the money!

  • @wqpeb I know you said Box, but did you know a Cardboard Coffin cost more than a regular coffin in the UK lol

  • lol plastic coffin

  • INSULIN

  • I already signed a contract with a local public university, they get my body for medical school, and then they cremate my corpse and send the remains to my family :-)

  • all that hard work...buried

  • What a waste of money but the craftsmanship is extroridinary!

  • Wow I admire the craftsmanship of these workers.

  • you can not lose this job

  • Osama's Body Must be placed in one of these Boxes ..... and than Thrown in the Sea over Night ... LoL

  • You can get plans for both coffins and caskets, as well as kits, online.

  • Dead end job, no?

  • all that hard work...

  • I agree, Fastian, I would like to go to a body farm but other than that, I would want only the absolute basics NO EMBALMING and a pine coffin.

  • RUNING

    ADRIAN

    ADAMS

    XT

VISUAL HYDROGEN FLUENT LENGTH INCH NINE ENEMY

  • I want to see how coffins are made.

  • mai coffin is going to be maid of gold :D

  • It's sad, really. The man who makes it doesn't want it, the man who buys it doesn't need it, and the man who uses it never sees it. It's strange to think how they put so much effort into something nobody wants except the dead.

  • @BournemouthVEVO You are right, its sad how much effort is spent in making a high quality casket, but most of of furniture that I have fails down when I try something new with my partner :/

  • just wait until china mass produces those, then i can get a REAL affordable funeral ...

  • These are way to expsensive -_- Seriosly, the person just died, the funeral is costing there family $20,000+!!!! dollars, then this coffen that has 1 use then rots away. Yet, these aint that good

  • They make lawn mowers faster than that, and I would think there are more dead people than dead lawn mowers every year.

  • All of this is for the living, the dead won't care if they're in an egyption tomb, or a cardboard box

  • 'They're nice huh?' HAHAHA No, if you're in it.

  • That's sad to watch people making coffins, that one day, they themselves will be laying in. :(

  • @laeinc Not if they get creamated. It's probably the better option. Burial involves releasing formaldahyde into the ground. It'll poison underground aquifers. However, cremation causes air polution. Just leave me to the wild dogs...

  • @kidkong584 cremation better so i will go to the wind

  • The very last one you see, can be bought off wal-marts site. It goes for about 1400 bucks. Thats no joke look for yourself. Wal-Mart caskets........hmmmm?

  • Best job ever.

  • My mother was cremated the same day she died. My mother's wish was that she wasn't viewed because the cancer deteriorated her in the later days. We simply had a memorial service with her ashes in an urn.

  • If had to work there 8 hrs a day l would be so fucking depressed.

  • I would KILL to work there!

    Got it? Haha? No? Okay.

  • Grave yards are good for the environment. They keep areas free of buildings and roads. Otherwise those areas that have cemetaries would be built over. It adds green to an urban areas.

  • what kind of taylor clamp is that @0:41-1:13

  • No, leoofvgcats, it poisons the ground. Caskets have so many chemicals on them, such as stain and laquer and these eventually leak into the ground. Plus you have the embalmed body that is filled with toxic chemicals and these, too, will leak out of the body.

Burial takes up so much land that could be better used for other things, I would rather my body be disposed in one of these ways.

    1. Sent to a body farm

    2. "Green" burial

    or

    3. Cremation

  • @InnannasRainbow I want to be tossed into a giant wood chipper.

  • @InnannasRainbow

Can I have your body for target practice for arrows?

    .......It's recycling.

  • I'd prefer a coffin to a casket

  • @ExtremelyUsed they're not that comfortable.

  • ..... decorating the place i will forever die in... lol..

  • Those coffins are to die for!

  • Comment removed

  • A cardboard box for me. It's cheap and does the job.

  • It's a giant prop box. I can't believe they sell these for 10,000 dollars. Jesus. I'm building my own!

  • I wouldn't care about the standard of my coffin. When I am dead, I can't feel it anyways!

  • Sigh...why do we waste so much money on this?

I mean, all this wood could've been used for something else.

It's going to rot/go to the ground anyways, so why not get something that's more easily replaced? Like paper/cardboard or hardened cornstarch?

  • @leoofvgcats well if it's just going to rot into the ground, then doesn't that kinda help fertilize the earth?

  • five bucks

  • just put me in a trash bag

  • Throw me in the ground and plant a tree over me!Come feast you filthy maggots! No worries here! I'll be dead!

  • @ryanhall2013 ...thats what i want jus bury me in the ground so my body can be recycled back to mother nature...

  • @SteveSabbai lol ........ Yeah, what's the point in spending 8,000 bucks or more on a casket, vault and all that fancy stuff when we're all just going to rot anyways whether we're sealed or not (Think about the mummies). I mean, If you're buried, then no one is going to notice that you are 'naked' without a casket! Ha haha

  • just put me in cardboard box!!!! to much work for a dead person

  • wondering if the workers get discount for ther own funeral :P

  • nice, so when I die I'm going to be in a stained wood box that's been glued? I'd rather be cremated and put in a PRETTY HAND-MADE NON-GLUED Pottery Pot. :)

  • This is a very basic casket. Shreaded paper "matress" no locking mechanism and no seal.

  • pimp my coffin

  • Cool

  • @WitchGirl94 AGREED :D

  • @WitchGirl94 srry i fucked it up hehe *blush*

  • @WitchGirl94 i meant: I want a coffin when i got my own place

  • i believe i can make that

  • i would like an army jungle camo version with sideports for maghineguns:) hehe taking about imagination huh?;)

  • My grandmother had a beautiful casket it's color was autumn rose *A lovely shade of purple*

    I miss her R.I.P <3

  • poor lumber

  • Pretty cool

  • Cool video. Thanks

  • Another good argument for cremation.

  • The casket of the owner of a funeral parlor had a unique one end. The grill of his Mercedes Benz.

  • I wonder how the workers feel. Some dead persons going be in this.

  • 'dead nice, that'

  • if anyone buys me a plastic coffin i'll come back from the dead and kill them with the cheap piece of shit.

  • I think the costs of coffins and caskets are getting far far overpriced these days. For example my nan had a standard catholic coffin and a half an hour service at the crematorium also a basic service given by the funeral directors her funeral costed just under 2.700pounds we didn't have any funeral cars for the family ether we used our own transport

  • I wonder if charges that coffin?casket makers charge these days are day light robbery as clearly how simple a casket is made my nans funeral costed just over two grand and that was without funeral cars for the family just a hearse for nans coffin I hope one day uk gov will put a capt price on the coffins or caskets as many people cannot even afford this also we had a catholic priest to give last rites we family did not know nor did nan but she was born catholic so we had to respect that RIP nan

  • it's nice to know when im dead im going to be in a casket made with glue

  • babygabby1000 caskets at the most if u order it cost under $1,000

  • Best narrator.

  • whats the name of the song on it

  • me! i want my body to be burn ... then they can throw my ashes in the river! thats ok. i dont need this very expensive coffin. its just a waste.

  • why not lets just wrap the dead in banana leaf or a new paper to save money! anyway they wouldnt know the difference they are dead already!

  • now THERE'S an "economy-proof' job!

  • Comment removed

  • Now i know why their are sooo expensive people

  • That's good to know

  • my aunt used to work in a casket factory.

  • The question is, who is going to enjoy the quality and the beauty of this coffin?

  • The surviving family. Maybe it makes them feel good. I'll be dead..... Kind of a lot of money to spend, don't you think?

  • so much money and work for nothing thats all gonna be waste the time it hits the ground....

  • true, when i die they can put me on a rubbish tip

  • wow, really they call that part the box wow lol

  • what's the name of the song?

  • Michael Jacksons, Smooth Criminal, NUFF SAID!

  • Whos the criminal?

  • 3:58 gives new meaning to the phrase "dead nuts on"...

The Ted Williams Popsicle-Head On A Stick model is a foot shorter, and has no head pillow. Large glass mason jar sold separately.

  • WHAT A WASTE OF CRAFTSMANSHIP! I would buy it as a bed :p

  • wow they decorate it so pretty but i dont want to sleep in it no matter what until i die lol

  • Heavens to Murgartroid! What fascinatin' footage! What did one casket say to the other casket? He said, "Is that you, COFFIN???"

  • all that work just to bury it in the ground, as if the person inside cares what it looks like.

  • @Kysen100 It's an expensive and decorative worm food storage box...

  • I think it would be better to use more nails instead of glue and just staples.

They didn't use any nails at all in this.

  • Just cover my body in a sheet and bury me.

  • @Faztlan or cremate? :)

  • GLUE!!!???? WTF.. No No You never use glue or nails Or Nail's..

  • with all that work put into some of the higher end models its almost a shame to put them where nobody can see them

  • we offer quality caskets at discount price!

  • Comment removed

  • wow.

  • and the end of the day the purpose is what?

  • The only job that can't be outsourced.

  • As long as Death is doing their job. Their will be customers.

  • and comfy too. ;P

  • In ISLAM dead people are buried without caskets but only white textiles are used to wrap them. I think it's much better coz using casket for each dead person means alot of wasting of woods and metals.

  • They are also placed burried vertical in the ground facing mekka.

    That saves alot of space.

  • we dont care what idiots do with their,,,,trash,,,,,,,,,,,ta ta

  • No one asked you to care about us! turaaaa :)

  • they actually do use boxes. They are made of plywood

  • I just think how much wood was used and the sheer cost of a casket or coffin is disgusting of how coffin and casket makers make such a ridiculous profit of a family in grief at such a difficult time is quite awful and same goes for funeral directors too they can be rip off's my nan's funeral cost all her savings and it costed about £3.000 and that was a basic package I personally think that government should monitor costings and make sure that we don't get ripped off as we do

  • You can always DIY.

  • @DanielR305 It does make more sense to me to just consider cremation.

The cost and profit of coffins and funeral directors is outrageous, but I feel that the use of expensive manufacturing process and materials doesn't make sense for a person who is merely becoming worm food inside that box.

  • That's a lot of work for a dead person.

  • mmmm I prefer metal :\ The wood ones are nice too though

  • So it is not waterproof

  • Also watch the video response that shows how the metal onces are made.

  • kool....

  • Totally laughed at the last quote. "They're nice, huh?"

  • I'm so sorry I think I just marked you comment as spam.

Anyway what I meant to say was, wasn't the quote at the end "dead nice, that"?

Not a great pun but there you go

  • wot a complete waste of time and cash just hrow them in the gorund without one lol cheaper

  • Hmm i want my white and then i want everyone to sign it ^^

  • This is a very good idea xxXfallingdownXxx!!!

  • I want mine to be lined with nice purple fabric. On the outside I'd have a beautiful forsest scene painted.

  • wow, thats very interesting in a creepy way...

  • It sure looks great to go to hell in a box like that

  • lol... so true..

  • what should i buy gold panned or silver panned coffin

  • Caskets are for the ultimate honour, gentlemen. One's body could be thrown onto a garbage heap also but that's not a human should be treated... This is respect.

  • If i had an wish my one wish would be to see what its like to be dead

  • that would be a nice setup for a kicker box and amplifier.

  • @nitrostang50 some bling would be good

A giant Big Ben working clock with pubic zircromium inlaid Roman numerals , hydraulics for bouncin'.... shit, might as well splurge, and put on some spinning rimms.

The song "Funk Box" by The SugarHill Gang playing on the built-in speakers...

  • So much wood, and so much work, just to have something to rot in....

Just throw me in a furnace, burn my body up, and throw my ashes in the garbage. I won't care. I'll be dead.

  • @Scynite I agree, I'm going to oven world myself so I won't be wasting all of that nice wood. Torch me up and I'll see you on the other side hahahahahaha.

  • @Scynite There are cornstarch based coffins. Much better, but not as fancy.

  • would be cheaper and save alot of resources just throwing people into a hole and calling it a day

with the tomb stone optional of course

  • i dont care what happens to me when i die, i have only 2 requests, i either want my friends to sell my body to necrophiliacs or wierdo's... and spent the money on an amazing party the wworld has not seen yet....or freeze dry me in a sitting down position so a beer can be stuck in my hand, so i can be brought out to be part of the party

  • That is frankly a brilliant idea. In my Will I have requested to be cremated an put in a firework then set off. KABOOM!!!

Perhaps I could be freeze-dried in an amusing position for the final party, then let off in a firework?

  • lol

  • OK NOW THATS JUST FREEKY....

  • My cousin gotta shitty basic casket. I hope mine will be made of gold!

  • what? you think your special or something? XD

  • shut up ur a moreon

  • go back to school and learn how to spell, retard

  • HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH

    owned yourself

  • that must be a booming business considering how many ppl die everyday!

  • i still remember my grandma's casket and it was this ugly silk green. Family loved it i thought it was icky

  • very informative.

And to any cynics I say "How can you put a price on a loved one?"

  • @Harvey030547 How can you put a price on Worm Food?

The most honorable and ecological way is to put the deceased in a rectangular hole in the ground. Beautiful flowers and natural grass will grow on the surface from the natural decay. That to me is a beautiful way.

  • dude i want a cherry wood coffin w/ mahogony stain...black silk and red velvet on the inside...and speakers blasting my favorite songs until the battery dies...

  • It's gonna cost you an arm and a leg!:P

  • well, i don't think i will really need them anymore...and who says they'd have to be mine?

    +}

  • @Triwood1973 lol

  • Well done.

  • Most caskets have a better bed in them, most of them are have a proper mattress in them. This is something that this particular company used to cut costs, which you can bet was not passed on to the funeral home and therefore not to the family purchasing it.

  • lol the man at the end wnet

    "DEAD nice that "

    lol

  • I think it's a beautiful casket

  • Interesting. If you had the right tools, it'd be cheaper to make your own then buy one. I always thought the dead were on mattress not wood scraps. Never knew the real difference between coffin and casket.

  • No comfortable mattress in the casket.I want to be comfortable, while I'm in the casket, when I'm dead...

  • When you're dead you won't know the difference.....

  • you might

  • uhhh, when your DEAD you dont feel anything so how would you know what comfortable is?

  • What if your put into one of those flintstone coffins made out of rock from bedrock XD lol...you never know?

  • It still doesn't have as much glue as a speaker =]

  • A lot of work went into the casket but I thought caskets were more high classed made with stuffed mattresses with wood shreddings I suppose its made at the cost at $400 then sold at $3 to 4000 crazy cruel world. I would like to go in my own made coffin at the fraction of this casket is made. I think we are tricked and fooled by prices that break the bank at a family's most vulnerable point in life at a loss of a loved one

  • I thought the same as you. I couldn't believe that they basically put straw in the bottom of the damn casket. That shit is cheaply made and it does suck for the family that thinks they're getting more bang for their buck. Overall, the whole process is just CREEPY !

  • i rather take the chance and sleep in one of those, they look so comfy

  • Caskets are built for dirt cheap!

  • This shit has so much glue they should make these at middle school wood shops. How about a casket made from popsicle sticks?
