@czierwo Thanks, it's an old camera and I took it up as a last resort, so if you label this video and sound quality 'poor,' that's actually a compliment seeing as how it's completely and utterly outdated.
I figured that people would rather see the run in a poor quality than not at all.
Dude, for $900.00-$1,200.00 you can buy a nice Sony or Canon Hi-Def video camera with built in optical (NOT DIGITAL) video stabilization technology. Then, pay another $150.00-$300.00 for an excellent tripod with good camera mount. Then pay another $500.00-$750.00 for a quality zoom lens and some appropriate light filters, a couple extra batteries and some extra memory and it'll look like a quite proper production company shoot.
If you don't have the $ or the technical expertise you should consider contacting Denver Open Media and checking out one of their Hi-Def cameras with proper extras next year b/c you've got the spot and patience to shoot but you need to bump the production value if this is something that you really want to do for a living. It's a horribly tough biz but who knows? Nice footage for what you had to work with (an obviously old, standard definition video camera w/no tripod (that camera gets heavy!)).
@originalatlasdrugged I'm going to Colorado Film School for the next four years, so it shouldn't really be a problem in the future. But thanks for the advice!
