The minimum is to pronounce in your own language:
"I bear witness that no one deserves to be worshiped except Allah and I bear witness that MuHammad is the Messenger of God" or a sentence which has the same meaning in.
If U have proplem pronouncing "MuHammad" so replace it by Abul'lQaseemIf you have problem too,so say Abu'lGaseem.
Your apology should be for freely associating any religion with any form violence. All religions have good and bad people that pretend to follow them. The point that needs to be made is that people need to keep their minds open and their hearts clear from hate. Islam is a beautiful religion and so are all of the rest of the religions of the world.
i have friends from all faiths and yes all religions do have bad people i just feel that muslims are ignoring the problem within their religion and that the Muslim world needs to take a bigger stand against Muslim extremism, i would personally feel very offended if people were using my religion as an excuse to kill innocent people and if people were associating me with terrorists

I hate all Muslims that participated in the atrocities of 9/11, and I am a Muslim, one of the vast majority that the News and Media do not interview because we are not interesting and don't sell. Have you ever questioned your sources for such information? There is so much wrong in the world and I can't even blame you for stereotyping all Muslims because plenty of News outlets try to make you think that way.
now i don't stereo type all muslims, i grew up with many muslims bck in Liberia. how ever, since i'm going to afghanistan soon, muslim extremism is a big deal to me, I just always feel like alot of muslims try to ignore wats going on, i wish the media would report on muslims like u all who denounce these suicide attacks that have killed thousands of innocent people in Pakistan, afghanistan and 9/11, i believe the people of Islam are the only ones who can put a stop to these extremists

The only way to defeat them is to not be afraid. The USA is fighting in Afghanistan so that the people who die are not more American citizens on American soil. The USA went to Iraq because Saddam wouldn't shut his mouth about pretending to have WMD's and the USA wanted to protect Kuwait and Israel just in case. All of this is not religion-based at all. It is the media that corrupts our minds with these thoughts that these terrorists are representing religion at all.
