  • I have never heard "After You've Gone" styled as a duet before. It gave the song a whole new meaning.

  • What label is this?

  • @MrXnews Never mind. I think it's a Blue Amberol.

  • Great song! Thank you for sharing! Billy Murray is one of my favorite artists and I've not heard this one before. I've got quite a few of his posted on my page too.

  • I was 19 when this song came out and I had been married for 2 years. This was one of my favorite songs from Bill Murray.

  • i love billy murray. but i have to admit i'm surprised at the poor audio quality for a song thats only from 1919. sounds like 1899

  • @thebrujaisbackagain This a dubbed Blue Amberol. Acoustically transferred dubbed BAs exaggerate wavering tones.

  • Billy Murray was a very good musician. I never heard this one before. Wow, 1919, the year my Mom's Dad was born.

  • I love those very old recordings. The songs are well known in the old style jazz world, but in this form forgotten. Musiciens should listen to the very first discs. Perhaps the well known dixieland numbers will sound fresh again.

  • I think, there's a lot of reasons to look back to the good or bad old times.

We all should not forget so many things . . .
