  • Happy australia day.

  • We should play this EVERY Australia day hahahahaha

  • they forgot the people where the most deadly animals here expessaily the girls durning summer :P

  • hey im from australia.............though this is frikken hilarious

  • Also our bird the Magpie goes straight for the skull, a few kids lose one eye during swooping time ....

  • 19 people Dont live in Australia

  • Bloody hillarious for over 25 years i've been in pest management in Perth i've been bitten by all the spiders(and some that most people have never heard of) with the exception of the Sydney funnel web swum with crocks and box jellies allmost got killed by a ferral pig in QLD the size of a small car but this just hit the nail on the head for me i'm still laughing good one guys.

  • @Heat105mm you deserve a god damn medal of honor

  • Fuck off we're full

  • Heh, I love this song - I recognise so many of the animals! Where I live, we're being invaded by echidnas - freaking things won't shut up, and the really big ones are bloody tough - when you go to pick em up, they burrow into the ground & shove their head under so you can't get 'em, even if you try to dig em out with a shovel :( - I'm not stupid enough to get within sticking range! Redbacks and whitetails are good for the amount of panic you can cause in a classroom pointing them out, lol!

  • basically: everything in Australia is trying to kill you

  • @slugboy4 That's not quite true. Some of the sheep are harmless.

  • @slugboy4 Nah, the kangaroos are just trying to maim and disfigure

  • That fucking koala made me jump back, and I'm not watching this on full screen...

  • No Badoingan Snake??

The last thing you hear when attacked is... 'badoing'.

The most feared creature in the world, wiping out the Dropbear...

  • never knew my country was that bad :P

  • Cracked.com, The 6 Deadliest Creatures (That Can Fit In Your Shoe)

"As they pack you into a body bag, your body reflexively shitting itself, your one final thought will be: "Man, fuck Australia.""

  • gah i really really wanna spend my life there but recent reviews and information put Australia in a very bad light with regards to cost of living.. I really wanted to set up my own TV show hunting and wrestling dropbears, the most feared creature even after estuarine crocodiles! Steve Irwin was too scared to mess with em, so I figured I could make more money and fame than he did. Anyways, is it true, its really costly to live there vs Canada or USA? Serious enquiry and thanks!

  • @thekaizer666 Are you serious? Compared to the USA, our economy is amazing. Given that, things are slightly more expansive here- is you add moving and everything it'll turn out to be an expensive task. But I love Australia. I love the people, the sights, the locations, the animals- everything. I think it depends, not on how much it costs, but on if you really want to do it or not.

  • haha best better put another shrimp on da barbi

  • @brommoooo Prawn mate, it is a flaming Prawn !!!!

  • I THINK I KNOW SOME OF THOSE GUYS...

  • brilliant ! just brilliant !!! - i live in Adelaide and i have red backs in the roof at my house ! - i can relate to this song ;)

  • Ha ha ha !!! Love it !!! They forgot to mention the Cassuary, and a few other 'fun' things we have here !!! Don't forget about the black panthers that roam the bush, since being 'let go' after WW2 !!! I saw one crossing the road in front of my car, on the outskirts of Melbourne, last year just before sunset !!! It was as tall as the bonnet on my car !!! No wonder farmers have their livestock torn-apart !!!

  • im aussie lol awsome song though

  • FINALLY! Someone else actually understands my fear of Australia! And they're from Australia nonetheless!

I never heard anyone else complain about Australia but me until now. I'm so relieved. By the way, they missed the REALLY scary things. Even the trees kill you there.

  • @TheMTPrower im australian...and really its not that dangerous, i mean you have to be really dumb to poke a redback or something. i live in an area where all these animals are, and i have never been stung/bitten in my life

  • Comment removed

  • @RsandTrans An interesting fact is that no one has been killed by a Red back in at least 30 years.

  • Best song ever

  • Now this is what I call funny.

  • didn't even mention the dropbears. they're the worst

  • @tjb2693 Or the bunyips. The drop bears can be avoided with enough vegemite. If only my friend's cousin's hairdresser's uncle remembered that. ... *sniff*

  • @tjb2693 Don't wanna scare everyone too badly. If they knew about drop bears we'd never get any tourists

  • It's called a cone shell!

  • we arent making fun of your country, we americans have an inherent fear of anything that MIGHT poision and/or kill us. we arent saying anything against the place, i bet it looks very nice.

  • Australia has 4 out of the top 10 most livable cities in the world, relax americans on the fucking dissing of our beautifal country

  • @AussieBallers You sound mad bro.

  • @holiday2010 loser^

  • @AussieBallers Oh yeah. You so mad.

  • @holiday2010 loser^

  • @AussieBallers You need to calm yourself. This can't be good for you.

  • @holiday2010 loser^

  • @AussieBallers You're so mad I can feel it through my monitor.

  • Wow. I thought only Americans were the only ones aware that Aussies live in a land that wants to eat/poison/mutilate/kill them.

    Hm.

    Are all Aussies closet masochists?

  • @TheEbonHunger .. God god.... our secret has been found

this is a kinda catchy song

  • @goverat

    Yes, it's very, catchy...

Don't try to change the subject!

  • i almost stepped on a tiger snake today and went to grab my rake and there was a redback on that to hahahah love this song

  • funny but i still would like to go to that beautiful country.

  • @rockabilly12 I've been there and still lives, camped in a nationalpark, swam in the ocean, walked in the tall grass during night.

Australia = best country I've been in so far

  • For a Job, I am going to Australia in August. Just for two weeks. To motivate my – so to say – my girlfriend just send me this link. Now I am wondering if I get payed good enough.

  • its funny because its true

  • This automatically makes Aussies badass.

  • DOES ANYONE HAVE THE CHORDS FOR THIS??

  • @Larson778 pretty sure it's on ultimate guitar. Just type deadly animals chords into google.

  • You might accidentally get killed.

  • Comment removed

  • Best bit: the koala attack at 0:39.

  • Wait, Koalas and Kangaroos are poisonous?

  • @Jonstern1983 No but they can still kill your ass. Australia is one place I may never visit.

  • @warwatcher91 oh yeah, remember the drop bear, I survived Australia year 2010 - 2011

It's not as bad as it seems, sure, you can get attacked by kookaburras wanting your food and never ever put your hands under a table, because a redback could sit there, wear sandals when go swimming in rocky areas and always watch out for the shark patrool.

  • @lonewolf202 I came here after readed Cracked.com and Tvtropes and they make it sound like EVERYTHING in Australia is out to kill you. Do you live there?

  • @warwatcher91 nah not anymore, had to go home after a year, sort of sad because I loved it there, I lived in Adelaide out at Hallet Cove. (you probablu don't know where that are) Best year ever! I am thinking about moving back when I'm done studying here in Sweden.

  • @warwatcher91 if you get killed by a koala or a kangaroo you deserve to die.

  • @youbetzler Heh, indeed. Things like the funnel web spider and the blue ringed octopus are another story though.

  • @warwatcher91 Well then you're just super unlucky, and still kind of dumb Considering they're very easily treated. I've lived here 24 years and never seen a funnel web or a blue ringed octopus and i know one guy who has seen a blue ringed octopus but it was dead.

  • @youbetzler hmm thats not such a good comment, considering the amount of people who die, and get serverly hurt from hitting Roos in their cars in the sticks..

  • @Skremn01 hitting a kangaroo in your car does not kill you. I've hit a roo before and know plenty of people who have also. If you swerve and lose control you die because of poor driving skills not the kangaroo.

  • @youbetzler It can just really fuck your car up especially if it's a big red

  • @Tokugawa2005 had a camry once. now it's only 2/3 of a camry. hit a roo on the way to the gym and it was raining. maybe it's the universes way of saying don't excercise.

  • @Jonstern1983

No, they're not poisonous. The koala will just rip most of your face off. The kangaroo won't do much except break your spine and ribs with one kick. That's all.

  • @useraccount333 Kangaroos also have a neat trick of disemboweling dogs and even humans.

  • This should be posted to the living downunder website

  • The scariest animal in that whole video is that bloody emu at the end lol

  • @Tokugawa2005 Then you don't want to see a cassowary: they look like raptors and can disembowel you with their terrifying claws.

  • lol , yes al quaeda. Come to australia. hehehehe. hahahaha HAHAhAHA MWAAHHAHAHAHAHA! x) AHAHAHAHAHAHAH-*ahem*.........O.O

  • 4 people need to eat concrete and HARDEN THE FUCK UP

  • but weve got vegemite so suck on that america

  • @dbzawsm EWW i had a full table spoon of that shit UGH SO GROSS ITS LIQUID SALT BUTTER BLACK SHIT OMG YUCK

  • @chewogilvie harden the fuck up

  • @chewogilvie *facepalm* You're not meant to have a tablespoon of it you spaz, lol. It's to spread lightly on toast. You're not the first to make that error though, lol. But people like you who do make such errors are a constant source of hilarity for us aussies. But dont worry, even on toast it can be too salty for some. I'm just pissed at the yanks who bought out an aussie icon. *headdesk*

  • they're awesome! i saw them (and had a pic with them) at the Melbourne comedy festival today. One of their last performances

  • i love the pic of the emu at the end

  • "The poison thing that lives in a shell" makes me think of a cone snail, but the vid shows some kind of hermit crab. Are there any venomous hermit crabs (or similar crustaceans)? I'm curious. :)

  • @16Nire61 i dont think there are in hermit crabs.... i have had may hermit crabs as pets....

  • @shazdingle There's more than one species of hermit crab, though, and not all are kept as pets. From what I've been able to find since I asked, there don't seem to be any venomous ones. Perhaps the person who edited this made a mistake (from reading these comments, it appears that it wouldn't be the only one). XD

  • 14 people are members of the Australian Tourist Board.

  • animals are nothing compared to the politicians

  • (laughs) I fail to see how this would help attract tourists.

  • the poison thing that lives in a shell that spikes you when you pick it up XDD

  • It's just for fun. XD Doesn't have to be totally correct.

After all, the gist of the song is correct - Australia has one of the most dangerous wildlives ever. Five out of ten of the top ten most poisonous snakes in the world can be found here... amongst other things.

  • @Azeduori Nine out of Ten in fact.

  • @Nohomers48

    Or something like that. XD

  • Not only were the snakes incorrect, but they put a hermit crab or something similar where a cone shell should probably be.

  • The photo of the Taipan was a Death Adder and Tiger Snake was a Red Bellied Black.. FAIL!

  • @MrBoxinB There are Black Tiger Snakes in Aus, I had one at my back door only a month ago. They can look like Red Bellied, but definitely a Tiger in video above.

  • @MrBoxinB No That is definately a Tazzie Tiger Snake.... They did get the Taipan wrong though as that is a death Adder..... Also they have a photo of a Black Mamba near the end of the video, Black Mamba's being an African species.

  • AUSTRALIA KICKS ASS!! BEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!! BTW it aint that deadly, the most deadly thing with the most casulties every year is childhood drownings!!

  • F*#^Kin Brilliant...Awesome...

  • awesome!

  • Ha ha haaa!

Australia, where if the snakes and the spiders and the sharks and the stonefish don't get ya, the crocs will.

  • LOL @ the emu

    1:05

  • look out for the floods too!

  • the taipan in this vid is actually a death adder

  • Thumbs up who got here from TV Tropes!

  • cantor:sergio borges,do brazil zil zil muito bom

  • i like that they put vegemite on there, basically saying that itll kill you.....with deliciousness!!! :D

  • @saneill17 and saltiness overdose lmao

  • This is why I want to be a tour guide, to Scare Foreigners.

  • Hahahaha, good old Australia. (:

  • Everyday in this country I am on edge...

On the way to school, I dodge the most poisonous snakes in the world and at night I try my hardest not to move in summer when the Blackhouse and White Tip spiders are crawling under my covers. I swim with Boxer jelly Fish and go boxing against a Kangaroo.....and I've never been bitten except once by a bloody big ANT.

  • Well you might die from the vegemite it's disgusting Lol

  • @skylineandy Vegemite is DELICIOUS!!!

  • @ashkarful Agreed! I love it! :D

  • @ashkarful the one wid cheese is better :P

  • 0:20 is not a taipan. Just wiki them, they're huge. Not the dinky little adder shown here.

  • koalas are mean little buggers...saw a park ranger trying to get one out of a tree to relocate it...shit the sounds that came out were demonic and lucky the guy had thick leather gloves on up to his elbow would have torn him to shreds....so tourists who want to cuddle our cute little koalas, watch out they will tear out your eyes and eat them for jujubees........

  • STUpid despite our differences, that's hilarious. In my travels I've been told that before

  • i love the random vegimite at the end

  • I have seen most of the animals they just said...but the only thing I have been bitten by is the bloody mozzies! DX

  • No mention of Irukandii jellyfish? It won't kill you, but being stung by one feels like being under the cruciartus spell from Harry Potter... for weeks at a time.

  • The streets of Melbourne CBD on a Friday and Saturday night are more dangerous than any of the creatures portrayed in this video!!!!!!

  • @kanga1234567 Naa, that's another one of their songs. All about Super Bogan's, taking over Melbourne CBD.

The bogan's start in VFL Park but find it's been sold off to developers, which makes them really ticked off because there's no Footy and worst of all, no more Lou Richards. "God Bless you Lou. Australia's next Saint!"

  • FOME LA HUEA DE VIDEO

  • I swear the more you are scared of this shit the more it happens to you.

First 5 years I lived here, everything that could scare the shit out of a small kid, did scare the shit out of me. After I grew up some and cared less, moved to an even more dangerous area, and nothing, even the ticks stop biting.

  • lol i leik the kangaroo part >.<

  • hahahaaa..... studying there next semester. i don't know what i'll do if i see one of those spiders! ><

  • a dingo stole my baby and raised it as its own

no im not giving you a dollar

  • I loved that!

  • To think I wanted to become a Marine Biologist! It'll probably still happen :)

  • If you have manged to stay alive in Australia longer than 10 months you have my Utmost respect.

  • @shuri That's only for all of the dumb touries who don't think they 'need' to heed our safety warnings.

  • 'And the poison thing that lives in a shell, that spikes you when you pick it up.' I think they're referring to cone shell snails, not hermit crabs. :P

  • hahahaha me and my m8 tara sung this while walking around bali and freaked all the balineese people out >< GOTTA LOVE AUSTRALIA

  • Isn't Oprah nice, bringing over some food for our wild life the feast upon.. mmmmm tasty americans

  • @PERKO1966 nice fattened up americans.... the dingos will like that rofl

  • i love australia, in the past week i've been attacked by some black bird, bitten by a white tail spider. saw 3 snakes and stung by a jelly fish

  • @burnsy96 Now all you need do is get bitten on the arse by a re-back sitting on the dunny and have a funnel web bite your foot when you put your shoes on.

  • lol!

  • LOL

  • I LOVE the way the koala launches itself at the camera like that at 0:42! And no emotion or warning either! lol!

  • i've never seen one of them in aus since i came here from feb 10, but this video lmao,, actually i live in bondi beach n never seen a shark or jelly fish there

  • Australia in a nutshell.

  • Other than the animals, what else is dangerous about Australia?

  • @geekgo4 Everything. There is nothing that is not dangerous here. :P

  • @KilleonWolf Even humans?

  • @geekgo4 -deep whispering voice

    eeeeeeeevvvvvvvveeeeeerrrrrryyyyyyyttttthhhhiiiiiiinnnnnnnggggg....

  • @0MyChemicalRomance3 How do the Australians manage to live?

  • @geekgo4 the plants, i just have been there and when you hear the tour guides it's a miracle we survieved

  • @geekgo4 everything!

  • @geekgo4 all our serial killers, who make american serial killers look docile. mick taylor from wolf creek was actually based on two of australia's worst serial killers. ivan milat, who killed british backpackers.

bradley john murdoch, he was a real gem, too. he only got caught after he'd kidnapped a mother and her daughter. he'd also killed sum1s bf. he'd also killed some chick's bf and tried to kidnap her.

only a fool trusts a stranger in the outback.........

  • if your scared of red backs dont come to victoria we are full of them i have been bitten 5 times but i lived and now i dont pick them up any more and throw them at crows.

  • @DBZGT88X LOL.

I used to live in VIC.

    Yeah, They're everywhere there.

  • @DBZGT88X LMFAO "throw them at crows"? WTF???

  • that was freakin funny!

  • Lol I'm from Australia and never had my life threatened by any wild animal

  • Question: why is "the poison thing that lives in a shell that spikes you when you pick it up" A HERMIT CRAB?!?!

  • @DragonJSP I think they were talking about the Cone-snail which will kill you in less than 15 minutes if you get stung by its little harpoon it shoots out to kill fish. If you get stung by one you are pretty much screwed unless you are RIGHT near where there is civilization and if not kiss life good-bye.

look it up on here, they are kinda cool looking.

so if you go shell collecting make sure to wear heavy gloves and Don't pick up something with an animal in it

  • @LadyBarricade no i ment that in the video they show a hermit crab, i know its not a hermit crab but they show one!!! its weird!

  • @DragonJSP ohhhhhh ok

yeah hermit crabs aren't dangerous XD

  • @DragonJSP same reason the tiger snake is actually a death adder, the maker of the video isn't a nature expert. :)

  • Your brilliant tourist campaigne is working. I'm coming to Australia for the first time next week. If I accidently get killed, I was warned. :-) Thanks.

  • My favorite is the killer Koala (those drop bears are the biggest worry) and the Kangaroo swimming instructor.

  • Great! Tanx for posting!

  • More people die from bee stings in Australia than shark attacks each year. The new tourism slogan is; "Australia: where even the fucking honey bees have it in for you!" Hahahaha!

  • Pretty accurate...LOL!!!

  • Songs like these make me want to go to Australia.

    I think I'm waxing suicidal.

  • come to australia! a dingo might steal your baby

  • @ProtectYaNeck23 hahaha ah... controversy

  • @ProtectYaNeck23 dumb american

  • @jorddogga hahaha he/or she is australian....
