Then throughout 7 books (or movies) he has to try to defeat whatever antagonist in that book, where the antagonist is usually the Dark Lord Voldemort, who is one of the most powerful, evil wizards who killed Harry's parents and tried to kill him. The series builds up to Harry and Voldy's main fight. There are also many good themes in the series.
