Insurance is jerking you because they can. Call the hospital and ask for their financial department. Explain that you need the medication immediately, and if no response, call Health & Human Services Dep't in Mass. xoxox

insurance companies are a PAIN IN THE BUTT when it comes to covering meds. it isn't fair to the people are are suffering :(

Hey girl! Tim and I watched this together last night and held each other's hands during the whole time. I started crying, he came really close! (But MAN was he pissed off about the frickin' $500.00 deal, same with me!) I pray that once you get a "diagnosis" you can get SSI and free insurance so you can be treated. MY GOD! I'm so sorry, dear! I also wanted you to know that I've LOVED watching the clips of you performing - it gave me such hope for you!

Hang in there, shandy. It's terrible to have to fight so hard during a time when one is least capable of fighting (i.e., doctors, diagnosis, treatment, medication, insurance, etc.). I hope you can start treatment soon. ~MrsMozart (A Lyme patient too)
