Its a pretty sweet game. I just have one question, why is everyone calling this the amazing return to form when New Super Mario Bros DS came out? Is it because they don't like the DS? I don't know. As for the question, I would take Commander Keen 6 and actually finish the game because it needs finishing and maybe a little revamping just for fun! I thought I'd pick that just because Commander Keen is not very well know. : /

My goal is to keep games as games and not movies. It just seems that only Nintendo keeps it games the way they should be. I guess that's why I'm a fan. ;D

@evilisbliss I agree! though it's not really their demographic that's a problem of any kind. It's that they focus too much on creating a realistic and cinematic experience. This can only be fun the first time you see it, then after a while something that looks incredibly detailed can get boring. It could be a HUGE time saver if a lot of games designs were more simple especially if it doesn't need to look that detailed. Games weren't meant to be a realistic experience, they were made to be fun

Well I would choose Pokémon Gold, and call it DawnGold. BUT since Nintendo's already made HeartGold (Great game, but it could stand to stay a little more true to the originals) I'd have to go with remaking the Donkey Kong Country series on the Wii.

But yea zelda is so fun. especially ocarina of time and a link to the past (both on wii virtual console.) other great zelda games are majoras mask (on wii Vc) but if you have a wii you might as well start with start with twilight princess

You forgot to mention the crippled, god aweful controls responce. In this game 99% of the time you die is due to you falling of a ledge due to shit controls and 90% of the levels designed are pitfall levels in this shit game.

Well in response to that Question u asked at the end of your video... I wish that there would be a Sonic styled game sorta like this. that combined elements from Sonic 1-3 and the main games afterwards such as SA 1 and 2, Heroes, Sonic 06, and Sonic Unleashed (minus Werehog), well.. Werehog might work in a 2d platformer..

its is my dream that this game would come to be reality one day. Who knows? maybe Project Needlemouse may be the answer.. but based on Sega's recent games.. I doubt it *sob*

In all honesty I thought this was easy when I first saw it. Boy was I wrong. This was actually pretty challenging. The good thing is that they are very generous with the lives so you never have to worry about getting game over.

I'm sure they wanted to create a true flying mechanism in this game but, they realized that it would be impossible because it would instantly kill you team mates. the DS game doesn't have that excuse, I'm disappointed that i haven't been able to fly like i once was able to back in the day. Nintendo really needs to do something about this.

They should do this exact same thing with the multiplayer with Megaman. A video online Megaman 2.5D (fake) shows some awesome megaman 3 like multi player with one player being proto man. it's more team oriented though. Megaman is awesome and some multiplayer could bring it to the Wii

The original Super Mario Brothers was awesome, and I love how the games got better as they went. Super Mario Bros. 2 wasn't that good in my opinion, but lost levels was sweet. Super Mario Bros 3 brought it a step further, and Super Mario World brought that further, and was perfect. Going back to previous levels, finding secret levels, level variety, enemy variety, the cape, ghosthouses.... Super Mario World is my favourite! I just beat it twice in the last week and I LOVE it.

This game is a 7 by default. The game is great and the gameplay is fine but the 2 toads are lame. One toad is kool but they could have added the Princess or Daisy to replace 1 or both of the toads. Also there is no online play so theres not much to do after you beat it and not everyone always has someone to play with so for 50 bucks it gets a 7 from me.

Great review man. I agree with you about the music. The fake midi voice in the music, that "Bah bah" stuff drives me nuts.

As for a remake, Team Sonic should take a page out of the book of Nintendo and make a 2D game. The fans have been BEGGING for another 2D Sonic the Hedgehog game.

It's awesome how Nintendo hasn't forgotten Mario's 2D platforming role in video games. Before NSMB for the DS came out, I thought Nintendo had forgotten that Mario started out with 2D platforming (re-releases of smb 1-3 and smw don't count), but now it looks like Nintendo has finally created some new Super Mario Bros games.

As for the question, this is a game, NOBODY will know but Id like to see a "NEW" Joy Mech Fight. It was a NES Fighting game in Japan and I play it with an emulator and its AWESOME! I could TOTALLY picture it on the DS or WiiWare; or even a total Sequel for that matter
