why did this band get the one hit wonder treatment? they are some of the more talented musicians of the last 20 years. Hell was a great song, but they have made so many others that are as good or better.

Because they only got attention from the mainstream when neo-swing was in - along with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and others. They had albums before Hot and just happened to be there when the style caught on for a bit.

They are talented and versatile, but they do not play a style of music that large numbers of people listen too.

People might think they are one hit wonders but just listen to Perennial Favorites on cd, that album is guaranteed to make anybody a fan of this great band. Every song is excellent on that cd.
