I really liked the .. underground denfense thing.. and well, what i really love bout the whole half life 1 and 2.. specially 2, is that you care for teh npc's you know, never played a game that made you feel so involved.. just awesome.. I hope you are right they promised it this year.. though i have my doubts.. but theyneed to get it done and start working on half life 3 xD... i guess L4D 2 is taking alot of their time... its really dumb they are making it so soon
They really should have made it so that one thumbstick is the acceleration/deceleration, and the other one be the steering. I highly doubt that people would complain about not being able to look around while they're in their car instead of having easier steering lol.
i got mine for £10 new from my friend (who didnt like it, so i disowned him lol) its fantastic. there is a bit of a fps slowdown on the ps3 but its not really a problem most of the time
yeah, I originally had HL2 for the PC before I got the Orange Box, and holy shit, you want to talk about slowdown? Ugh...lol, but my PC is shit anyways. The only games it can play that I have for it are Quake 2 and Call of Duty (the original one)
anyway ive been convinced to get hl1 source. just bought it now and im gonna have a go on it now. ill add you to my friends list and let you how i get on XD
The aux power makes total sense to me really. I ASSUME that the oxygen for swimming uses power for maybe some kind of oxygen tank pump in your suit. Sprinting makes a 'peeww' sound so I assume it's mechanically assisted thus using power, and well a flashlight.. duh.
So I mean it makes sense to me. Sure it's dumb that they all use the same battery or power source but hey.. it's to add challenge.
it WON 40 goty awards for the record, and yea won, not nominated =). oh not to sound like an ass, but breen didnt control the combine, the combine overlords (who are alien) used him as a puppet.
I saw a lot of videos of 11 mins from non-partners I don't remeber if all were directors but now I think the style for channel doesn't matter, anyway great review metroidprimefan18!
