  • after that he smack him

  • unpleasant area xD

  • JEFF YOU SUCK!!!

  • Potting a solid on the break is OPEN TABLE and the shooter on their following turn may still chose Stripes or Solids regardless of the potted Solid ball!

  • @MaddenJMF Maybe in tourny rules but not by bar Standards.

  • shooters are neutral after the break, only the first called shot decides who is what color

  • if jeff makes a solid, it's now his friggen choice! what if he would have made a solid and a stripe?

not only is jeff bad at this game, he chose the wrong shot!

trash, or more commonly called (by actual pool players) 'slop' sometimes happens even when the pocket is called. slop is either a ball going into a different pocket, or uncalled.

  • @holybabble Jeff's trying,no critisism, in bowling alleys, it's stay's nutriel.

  • let me show jeff how to play

  • this is sooo confusing!!!

  • @oscarmartinez50 you donn't know = FK'N' retarded.

  • If not calling your shot is "trash" then why do all the pros play ball in hand where slop counts?

  • Those are the official rules, However much more standard and widely known rules have been developed, mostly because of the Bar scene, and people having to pay 1.00 per game on quarter tables.

  • Tournament rules? lol! There are tons of sets of different rules because there is no one governing orginization for pool. The APA, the largest orginized amatuer league, says that you are what you make. But the majority of tournaments that good pool players play, play under BCA (or similar rules, ACS, etc...) that allow you to choose either stripes or solids regardless of what you have made on the break.

  • You play pool like how the guys

in the video were explaining shut up if you guys don't know...

  • i agree with doubleeagle once you break no matter what balls you make you have choice to shoot whatever ball you want

  • haha you guys are clueless... thats not how to play.. ans he breaks like a girl

  • I almost got into a bar fight once because some ding dong played pool like you guys do.. That is not how you play.. Once you break,,its still OPEN table,, you have the choice to shoot whatever ball you wish if you pocket a ball on the break..Then you have to "back it up" with the same style ball in order to "claim" solid or stripes.. Pocketing a ball on the break only means you get to "now start shooting",,what you shoot is up to you..

  • Now some people play that if you pocket a solid or stripe on the break, then that is what you have to shoot next,,Ok, fine.. I can live with that.. But, like real242 stated, you have to then pocket the same ball in order to be that for the rest of the game.. If you miss your shot after the break,, Its OPEN table still.. Either way,, either style,, you guys are playing incorectly,,no big deal,,but your teaching people this,,thats wrong!!

  • i agree with you but what is sad is that you and some other people are saying are gettings thumbs down alot which means there are tons of people out there with the wrong opinion and those people are all playing incorectly and videos like this one are only making more of those people.

  • agreed

  • eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrr hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahaha a laugh at you and your stupid made up rules. you play what ever ball you pot

  • why does this guy have -2 votes ? Lol, he is 100% right

  • you're right but alot of people don't know this so im glad you posted it. people think you are forced to shoot the solids if you made a solid on break first but that is not true. what if you look at the solids and there is not alot of good shots but there are alot of options if you go for the stripes and you are allowed to do that. and it makes sense too.

  • tournament rules state that if you pocket a ball off the break that you have to pocket another ball of the same type(stripes/solids) for that to be your balls
